I always go back and forth between Led Zeppelin I and II as far as which is my favorite Zeppelin album. I think they’re equally good albums, it’s just one is more bluesy and the other is more hard rock, so whichever one I feel like more in the moment is usually the one I’ll go with. Then I’d say Physical Graffiti is practically right up there as well, it has pretty much everything you could possibly want out of a Zeppelin album in terms of the variety of songs on it.

Plant really had a hard edged bluesy voice on the first two.
His voice became more folky on the subsequent albums.
You guys have to remember that Zep I and I I were both released in the same year
