Vah Naboris was the first one I did. I had no idea what this game was when I went in and this game is the reason why I'm a Zelda fan but yeah going in I somehow managed to choose the hardest puzzle and boss with only 3 hearts and a dream.
I chose to do complete Naboris second, and it was too difficult for me, I got my brother to beat blight for me. I wasn't skilled enough yet. Were you able to beat him with only three hearts?!
@@Skeeders The order I did it in was Ruta, Naboris, Rudania, Medoh.
Wish I had your luck I tried doing naboris 2nd but died painfully.
@@Skeeders I was able to after taking a break from the game for a month. lol the only thing I remember about my first playthrough was how I experienced Gerudo desert and Vah Naboris.
I did medoh, ruta, rudania, naboris I was just terrible because I wasn't stealthy in the yoga clan Hideout but beating thunder blight was pretty easy because it took me 6 years to beat em and I had good weapons (I just beat thunder blight yesterday)
That red lynel on the top of the mountain gave me serious anxiety like a horror game even though i know there was no real risk from dying to him, since autosaves & stuff

I always loved how Vah Naboris used the electricity mechanic, it kinda felt like it was exclusively used in the Gerudo shrines despite being super interesting
I agree, although I haven’t gotten Vah Naboris yet, the shrines that use electricity are a lot of fun.
I agree that Naboris was the best. It’s the only one that had puzzles where I felt like I had to turn my brain ‘on.’ Literally all the others I just breezed through it and left totally disappointed. But Naboris forces you to really stop and consider how you’re going to construct, navigate, and solve the dungeon.

Ig I'm just stupid because the puzzles in the others took me a while. They didn't take super long or anything but I didn't just breeze through them like many people seemed to.

tbh the divine beasts look so much cooler in the cutscenes showing them menacingly walking when you first enter the village, when theyre sitting they look so goofy
Vah Rudania is easily my favorite. The atmosphere of it was great. The way the beast sits inside Death Mountain's magma and the darkness of the inside of it really added to making it look oppressively hot.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Vah Rudania looks the best of the divine beasts, something about the way it crawls and is shaped just looks right to me
I originally though va medoh was a giant floating island
Side note: i was very young when i had first played, im still learning more stuff about the game today

I think I over prepped myself for vah naboris because I ran around and did a bunch of shrines and had 21 hearts before taking it on. Then I got the rubber armor and upgraded it twice and bought a bunch of arrows. Didnt know that I didn't need as many arrows as a bought because this is my first time playing the game. This made the fight very easy for me but I also got the master sword to fight him with too. The lizard is the only Devine beast I have left to fight.
I like vah ruta the best because it is the only divine beast that I already knew on first sight what animal it was without searching for it in google. Looks for vah ruta for me is: 10/10
As a beginner to open world games, Waterblight is definitely the hardest one for me. It is because I am so bad at doing flurry rush at the beginning and I did not realize earlier that you can use cryonis to break those ice. Lol.
Thunderblight was a lot easier since I already planned to get the rubber set before going against him lol and I managed to parry his swift attacks (plus Daruk's skill is very helpful at the beginning to learn his attack pattern).
I just finished this boss last night and was having trouble with the ice blocks until i realised that I can destroy those with a simple arrow shot lol
Naboris is my favorite too! Then Rudania next, and then Ruta, then Medoh. When I first came across Vah Naboris, I thought it was the coolest thing!

i used to look at vah naboris in terror i still havent beaten him yet i had a friend do him for me so im replaying the game

Naboris was my first divine beast unfortunately, so I spent about 2 hours trying to beat thunderblight ganon with only 5 hearts😭 I had managed to do this and after that there was nothing in this game I could consider being challenging
I actually found water light Gannon to be harder than thunder light Gannon. I think it's because I attempted Rutah earlier on in the game. Also, I actually found Wind light Gannon to be very easy.
I liked vah rudania the best tbh. The boss was pretty easy but the gimmick where you flip 90 degrees was really cool (also daruk is the best champion)
When I first played this game Thunderblight Ganon was the first boss I did and I was getting so mad to the point where I went to bed, then the next day I finally beat it
Just done my second Devine beast, completed Ruta first but then did Naboris last night. Thought it was a lot harder than the first, not only getting across the desert but then the yiga clan, the Devine beast puzzles itself, then it took me several tries for thunderblight! I thought, Damn these next ones are only gonna more difficult! 😅 glad I seem to have done the hardest one early as it definitely was a challenge!!
rudania is the hardest , naboris is easy ( yiga clan easy asf , i destroyed every yiga guy in there) took a guide from yt and tada easy peasy

I actually thought that Naboris was a steam engine ship on legs but then I realised that it’s a desert, a camel makes more sense 😅
Doing the gerudo stuff last while overleveled and destroying thunderblight was so satisfying

I travelled halfway across the map to Vah Meadow because and I quote *it looked like it was the closest*
anyways I went up against windblight in my starter clothes as because I was an idiot I didn’t know where to find armor, 6/10 would probably attempt again
I think you missed 2 important criteria: the actual divine beast battle (riding on Sidon and firing shock arrows at Ruta, "stealthing" past Rudania's sentries, taking out Medoh's cannons while Teba drew their fire, and blowing up Naboris' feet), and the "problems" they posed for their races and Hyrule as a whole.
As far as Divine Beast battles go, Rudania is probably the worst, cause I hate stealth. That's also why I hated the Yiga Clan hideout (and didn't really enjoy the Red Lynel on Ploymus Mountain). Don't get me wrong, it was a cool concept, and I got some satisfaction out of taking down Master Kohga (not the fight itself, but knowing that I'd removed the leader of the Yiga Clan), but I just don't like stealth. As for which Divine Beast battle was the best, I have no clue. Vah Ruta was really cool in that it integrated the Cryonis rune, swimming up waterfalls, and bullet time into one epic battle, and I'm quite proud that I managed to get the last 2 orbs in the same volley, but chasing Vah Naboris through a thunderous sandstorm whilst riding a Sand Seal (with those PUMPING tunes) was just awesome. It was frustrating having to stay so close to Riju, and it WAS my first time on a Sand Seal, but it was still super fun. The one thing holding Vah Medoh's fight down was how slowly you moved forward with the Paraglider, and who far you had to go to get to each cannon. Would've been really nice to have had Tulin's gusts for that, you know? I think they should've had you ride Teba (like you did to get up there) to give you more forward mobility, and then, when you got close, leap off him like a horse, go into bullet time to rain bomb arrows on it while he distracts it, and then have him pick you back up when you drop too far. Then, at the end, when he's hurt, he'd say "Dammit, my leg's hurt, we got to head back to the flight range for now. Besides, we still can't go in there cause we aren't champ- WHY DID YOU JUST JU- *YOU HAD A PARAGLIDER AND DIDN'T NEED TO RIDE ME YOU SACK OF-* wait how are you on board Vah Med- Ooooooh..."
As for the "danger" aspect, Vah Medoh was easily the worst: "Boo hoo, we Rito can't fly high above our own village because Medoh will shoot at us. I mean, he only shoots at things that get close, so we can still fly low around the village, and we can still fly as high as we want in other parts of Hyrule, but it's really depressing being grounded here." There wasn't even any implication that Medoh was ever going to come down and destroy Rito Village. Second worst was Vah Naboris. Yes, they did say that, if Naboris DID decide to approach Gerudo Town, they'd have no way to stop it, but the other Divine Beasts always impacted trade and travel. And there wasn't exactly a lot of either of those going to a dead-end town that bars men from entering in the middle of the desert. As for the "most" danger, it's a coin flip. On the one hand, Vah Rudania was raining lava bombs across Death Mountains western flank, ruining mining operations and preventing the more ambitious travellers from buying what gems the Gorons could still get. On the other hand, Vah Ruta's rain didn't directly hurt any Zora, since they enjoy it, but it did hinder travellers, and would eventually break down the dam, destroying Zora's Domain, and possibly much of Hyrule.
Also, I kinda disagree with your judgements on appearance. Naboris' coolest feature wasn't its face, but the animation of its legs, and I personally think the way Vah Medoh perched atop Rito Village was really cool. It definitely made it seem like it was actually guarding its people, unlike the others that went to some distant peak that was miles away from town. Its wings spread wide was so fitting too. Baring its chest reminded me of Revali's pride, and its overall shape was reminiscent of a shield.
As of my current experience of the bosses in order
Windblight was first and a breeze. The bomb arrows you have to spare after the boarding phase and the updraft gives for easy bullet time. Practically free. A “major test of strength” guardian provides more of a threat
Waterblight was partially annoying phase 2. Still not the worst, but kinda difficult. Who tf thought it was a good idea to slow the combat in phase 2 down to a crawl
Took a long break from BotW. Came back and figured out parrying and flurry rushing. Anyways, after that…
Fireblight is easy. I know I had the master sword going into this, but let’s be honest, flurry rushing him is easy, and phase 2 is a joke because of bombs. The only reason this fight is harder than windblight if you’re going to any divine beast first is because you’re basically guaranteed to have bomb arrows going into windblight, unlike here
I haven’t gotten to Vah Naboris yet. I got a feeling it’s more a learning game than anything. But hey. I’ll have mipha’s grace and daruk’s protection going into this fight, so how hard can it really be with a free revive and auto parry
yo its easy as hell i did it without using any of the divine beasts powers , just shoot the bomb arrows or smth then in phase 2 magnesis then wait for him to come near you master sword boom boom shakalakataka
@@thegreatleon3573 yea. Still a skill check for those that don’t have combat down. Doing naboris first on my new playthrough, assuming of course yiga hideout isn’t going to be a bitch. Might just grab some ancient arrows and basically ignore the stealth
Thunderblight was the first I encountered. Tough af, but I think it had the best reward. Definitely made waterblight easier.

I learned thunderblights attack pattern pretty quick and fir me being the 3rd blight to fight it was pretty easy I done it in 1 try so for me it was easy

I have done Naboris 2nd every time and in my opinion the lynels are way harder to fight. But if you the the electric power it makes the other blights SUPER EASY cause it does like and 8th of there Health each hit and instantly knocks them down and the fire field on fireblight Gabon was useless for him
Ruta's my favorite, whatever you say about it, and waterblight was hard for my first time. Plus I ran out of lightning arrows so that didn't help for the fight either.
I feel like everyone is so happy the divine beasts are gone in TOTK but seriously loved these guys
I fought Thunderblight Ganon as a beginner. It took so long
Here’s my ranking and opinion of all the Divine Beast quests:
1) Vah Naboris - The Yiga Clan Hideout was great, and so was shooting Naboris’ legs to board it. Best puzzles and boss, but the boss arena sucks.
2) Vah Ruta - Sidon is great, and everything about the dungeon is very atmospheric. Puzzles and boss were decent.
3) Vah Medoh - most disappointing quest to board a Divine Beast in the game. Easy puzzles but they were fun. The boss is easily dealt with using bomb arrows.
4) Vah Rudania - underwhelming in almost every way. The atmosphere is amazing, but the quest, puzzles, and boss weren’t that good.
Van Rudania is my favourite because of the difficulty the dark area and so much more and to get in makes you use your non weapons like the giant boxes to help you

The blight was easy but the way to get to it was difficult and that’s why it is hard
I did ruta, rudania, medoh, and naboris. Thunderblight was so hard I had to get the master sword right before a fought him.

Vah Naboris was so difficult for me, I stupidly decided to do that one second and I wasn't skilled enough, I had to ask my younger brother who had already beaten the game to defeat him for me.....
I keep dying during the battle of Waterblight Ganon.
If you fight fireblight Ganon after completing the champions ballad, he is a total pushover
Thunder blight Ganon is not easy but try to take the master sword first its going to help much
I just beat windblight today, I just spammed bomb arrows to the face and it was really easy
For someone that plays the game for the first time i found the bird one easy.

Idk if it's just me, but I killed the thunderblight 1st try, I mean yeah he's fast but you can like see the pattern very quickly so I was able to dodge his attacks. For me he wasn't really hard🤷🏻♂️
For me i died the least to thunderblight since his attack patterns are like lynels and are easy to flurry rush
Be glad these things don’t exist. Imagine how much worse political relationships would be if the world superpowers had these super weapons at their disposal.

honestly the camel was SO overhyped and it was pretty easy to me. i found the elephant the hardest but maybe that’s cause i did it first

Ima change the names of the beasts based off their animal, element and name besides vah: Vah Rudo - Rulater. Vah Rudania - Ralafire. Vah Medoh - Meaglind (Me-glind). And last but not least Vah Naboris - Nathumel. Tell me which one is ur fav
the lynel sidequest deserves a 5/10 because you can just kill the lynel or buy arows
Bro the more this guy throws trash and call bag rudania dog water the more red in anger I get bag rudania is my favorite heees why. A you have a little part that shows he isn’t 100% taken over by Ganon unlike the others in the attack he doesn’t fight back his “attack” is getting startled like yunobo. He gets alerted and bashes his tail however with no alert the others attack no matter what. B Daruk is softhearted more than the others (except one) he may be strong and fierce but cares about the others, the only time we see them care for others (and not than startle them like Urbosa) that isn’t Daruk is Mipha so change my mind people do it.
