First off the Ibanez AZS2200F comes with a newly designed single cut body shape.
The Ibanez AZS2200F comes with GOTOH® MAGNUM LOCK® machine heads, which have an established reputation for tuning stability.
The Oil-impregnated bone nut of the Ibanez AZS2200F provides superior tuning stability and warm rich resonance.
The Ibanez AZS2200F features an AZ Oval C S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple neck.
The S-TECH special roasted treatment increases the wood's stability, durability, water resistance and tolerance of temperature changes.
The neck is sealed with an oil finish which helps make it feel similar to a well-played guitar neck.
The Ibanez AZS2200F features an S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple fretboard w/Abalone dot inlay
The S-TECH special roasted treatment provides a superior attack and a well-balanced tone and a rich sustain.
In order to achieve supreme neck grip comfort, the fretboard edge is finished with a smooth curve.
The Ibanez AZS2200F comes with Seymour Duncan® Magic Touch-mini™ and Alnico II Pro™ Custom pickups.
This steel pickup plate is designed exclusively for AZS series.
This plate, in combination with the traditional style single coil bridge pickup, preserves this iconic ”Twangy” sound across the entire AZS lineup.
The dyna-MIX5 switching system with Alter Switch adds a sound variation to fit so many different kinds of playing style.
While the AZ series features a recessed bridge cavity for fluid and dynamic tremolo action, the Ibanez AZS2200F model has a trem but with a non-recessed bridge cavity.

What’s up Remy?! it’s Mark from the Racer X discussion forum lol. I just subscribed to your channel. I was actually checking out these guitars because of the mini Humbucker. ;) Bruce Springsteen in the bridge and Bruce Bouillet in the neck Haha. So I actually have a question, is the single coil noisy by itself in the bridge? Cheers!

The neck pickup with the alter switch engaged (5:42) sounds amazing.

Looking on the Ibanez web site, the neck pickup position does not change anything with the alter switch. It only alters the middle and bridge positions of the pickup selector.
