You’ve definitely got the basics of the song. I think you’re an octave high. It almost sounds like there is an octave change in the chorus when you are hitting the 8th fret on the A. Which actually would be the correct note ate one point during that pattern. I just heard this song for the first time tonight so I’ll have to dig deeper.

@@WellFireProject I’ll upload how I think it actually goes. I’ll holler and drop a video. I tend to do my own thing when it comes to doing covers so I might end up adding my own parts to it. I’ll play the chorus the way they do in the song though. I’ll keep the chorus the same.

@@F2Fmma Thanks! I think the "trick" is play it one octave lower but you are using a 5 string bass, and starset uses 4 string bass. I have been watching a live performance and he begins to play the chorus in the 3th freet of the 4th string, that should be a C#, so it must be tuned on A#... really low... really inusual. Even lower than a 5th string bass in standard tuning. But the song never reach a lower note than C, so maybe I'll take I'll try to record it again in C tuning, although the notes will be the same, but one octave lower. Thanks for your help!
By the way, beautiful bass. It is an LTD?

You got it my friend! You’re just an octave off. Otherwise you have the song down perfect besides the octave change on the last note in the chorus. Yes it is! It’s a ltd b5-e. I noticed you’re playing an ltd too! Great taste my friend!

I played it with standard E tuning... but one comment said this band uses a lower tuning... C#... I think probably C. So the notes can be played one octave lower.
