Originating from the twin state in the Caribbean of Trinidad & Tobago to Savile Row, London & fighting to share his craftsmanship is really remarkable & the Trinidadian way. 😀
It is wonderful to see this fine Tradition of Craftsmanship, and Quality continuing through the young students now learning these important tailoring technìques at the Academy.
Sir, your story and your journey is amazing for me to learn about. You've made choices during your lifetime that resulted in making garments and life better for many. So, thank you for sharing your story-- 'You wear it well', and so do your customers.
Beautiful presentation. Im sold on Mr. Sedwick. If I were a young man Id go sign up at his Academy. This man is all class. That gentleman with the gorgeous pin stripe suit said he owns 50 Maurice Sedwick suits !!!
Mr. Ramroop was too polite to correct you. He is the owner and master tailor you are referring to, Maurice Sedwick is the name of the shop, the actual Mr. Sedwick is long since deceased, sold to Mr. Ramroop in 1988.
A beautiful and extremely wonderful display. I wish you permanent happiness, success and progress in your wonderful work. Health and safety to all of you with the utmost thanks and respect. Greetings.💕💕💕💕💕
Man it's so sad with the pandemic what's happened. Maurice himself said they will struggle to make their rent payments to remain on saville row and he couldnt see the company lasting much longer if things keep going the way they are. I love watching him and I do hope the best for his buisness as well as the rest of saville row.
We have a savile row shop at the mail box Birmingham and I am very fortunate to pass and admire the craftsman of the suits they have display.hope one day to purchase one.
Let us not kid ourselves, MONEY IS THE GREAT FACILITATOR. Without the money, you will not have a true bespoke. I think more people should be trained and taught to be craftsmen craftswomen. That is the greatest of all to be educated.
Artisanal production is eventually coming back, and more sophisticated than ever. Now we just need to wait for governments to start protecting their home industries, than the textile and other mfg will be back also
Very well, your an excellent tailor. But some of the video, was outside of the range of what is necessary in my way of thinking. Yes, my opinion only. If others like ot fine. Continue on as you please, and yes, I have never bought one of your suits. So take my opinion or leave it. Unquestionably you make a superior suit. Those idea's and opinions you expressed are wonderful. But some of the video, was over the top. Have a wonderful day. Best
