The crux of the issue wasn't even the money... You can't tell someone you're in it to win it, and then leave so many guaranteed increases in power on the table. Like Pokke said, it's not about the stats of your characters, because relic luck is relative. It's about saying you're going all in, and then NOT going all in. Iyo basically betrayed Pokke's trust in him by going against his word and not putting his best foot forward.

I don't know if you're joking around but I'm gonna assume it's a joke. What Iyo thinks is important is not what Pokke thinks is important. I can clarify to you right now that guide makers only copy-pasta information from in-game sources. That does not mean that they max out all their traces. This is a tournament that Iyo is going to and since he is already comfortable 0-Cycling, he (probably) went in thinking that it'd be fine to run them without maxed out traces since he can already 0-cycle comfortably. From my perspective, they were too focused on winning which is why they forgot to communicate on the most important objectives and all the possibilities they can cover.
I unsubscribed from Iyo about a month and a half ago for pretty much this exact reason. He is a guide maker and theory crafter that doesn't actually put forth full effort into the characters, takes no responsibility when he messes up or makes mistakes, shoves blame at other people, and just plays the victim constantly in every situation he can. This drama wasn't even serious, but he couldn't even bother to say "My bad, sorry I didn't take this as seriously as I could of". He blames Pokke, the other people helping with team building and practice, his and others' chats, the draft set up, he'd probably blame the stars not aligning properly if he could. Zero accountability for his choices and just throws crap everyone else's way for the situation. It's not hard to just apologize for his role in it and move on. yeah, my Bronya is 161 speed (lower base speed as well) and around the same cdmg (without sparkle sig). That's without spending much time building her. Iyo doesn't have to apologize for taking 4-Cycles to clear MoC and not winning the tournament. It was on Pokke to check on Iyo to make sure they win together. When winning is the only thing on your mind, it obscures the rest of your ambitions. Because of that, Iyo and Pokke didn't think that not leveling Iyo's traces would turn out the way it did. Do not expect it's the other guys fault when this is a team effort. That is to say, if anything, Pokke came to the assumption that Iyo didn't give it his all because he had stamina left over. This is now cleared up between them. If Pokke and Iyo were really doing their best to win, they'd put everything on the line.

Iyo doesn't have to apologize for taking 4-Cycles to clear MoC and not winning the tournament. It was on Pokke to check on Iyo to make sure they win together. When winning is the only thing on your mind, it obscures the rest of your ambitions. Because of that, Iyo and Pokke didn't think that not leveling Iyo's traces would turn out the way it did. Do not expect it's the other guys fault when this is a team effort. That is to say, if anything, Pokke came to the assumption that Iyo didn't give it his all because he had stamina left over. This is now cleared up between them. If Pokke and Iyo were really doing their best to win, they'd put everything on the line.
