Sorry bro but Superman is no near or close to Sentry. They both have different power, and Sentry's power came from super soldier serum while Superman was born with it. Plus Sentry is from earth while Superman is an alien. Hyperion is the Marvel version of Superman.

Eventually The Void would grow so powerful that even if Sentry could defeat it the world or universe might not survive. So they made Bob forget, and made the world forget. Eventually that broke, and Sentry returned, but he was never fully stable again and has been in and out of the comics over the years as an ally or potential threat depending on his mental state (like when he spent an entire run under the influence of a villain who convinced Bob they understood him & could keep The Void at bay if he just did what they said).
He was not given the Gold Sentry Serum, he broke into a lab looking for drugs and drank it, giving him the power of 100 suns. Because he was previously unstable with Schizophrenia, his brain wasn’t all there when he took it. Apart of his mind that was affected by schizophrenia was also affected by the Serum giving us Void.
Gotta say I’m actually surprised how good this looks. It’s refreshing to see a Marvel movie where they’re more low profile and not doing planet/multiverse ending scenarios for the first time in a long time.
So if you want to know, Bob is the Sentry. He is basically one of 3 analogs for Superman in Marvel. He's actually a wicked interesting character, so I hope they do him justice

Blue marvel is more powerful then the sentry by the way.The version of sentry more powerful then normal blue marvel is sentry/void but that is not normal sentry. Current odinforce thor is more powerful then the sentry as well.
