2 baller teams for sure. Loved these old open layouts. Forced teams to be offensive all the time. Way less sitting back and laning than modern claustrophobic layouts.
Disagree with that... If the layouts where that open these days, it would be a very passive game. Cause the level is so much higher and the pros shot incredible accurate.
Really cool to see this in my feed. Nice to see some old school ball from when I played tournament ball. I remember Traumahead had the most intense, raw, aggressive paintball vids at the time.
Man those bunkers are dope. I loved the old Evil Paintball logo. Wish they were still around as a company/brand. We still have Evil and Ultra Evil paint but its not the same anymore, doesn't even have that classic E logo on it
Neither. 2004 was still semi auto uncapped bps though most of us were shooting 20-25 BPS with cheater boards or semi with a high debounce. 15 BPS limit and ramping weren't made legal until 2005, and pro division was 1-2-3 full auto in 05.
@@MATTKBAN If I recall correctly it was allowed in NXL at Northeast Open and/or World Cup in 2004, and then rolled out to D1/2/3 in 2005. But that would have been after Chicago which is the above video.

Amen to that. Also gotta love listening to the guns from the era of the ROF wars.
If its not pump pretty much sucks !
Their pod packs are telling. No one bothers with more than 5 or 6 pods. Nobody expects to live anywhere close to that long, even at 15bps FA.
@qmto Hi Kevin!

Best color commentator in the business need more of him nowadays

Man I love those old Timmys and open xball layouts. It was all aggression and offense with like 10-15 points per match. Pure paintball
Love the commentary. Timeless!
Man keep posting these videos, I love seeing the OG games like this. Really brings me back to being a child watching these games
Great game and Great announcer! Looking forward to part 2
"thats awesome, broke his neck trying to get in there" hahahaha

YES! GLEN TAKO!
No one mentioned the 1 v 5 that the avalanche player pulled off that very first point.
I love how in the past every bunkering was followed up by a spin.
Back when murder was legal.
15bps was sick
7:10 "that dudes got a rocket in his ass" lol gotta love old school pb
Ah. The coaching, the bps, the layouts. Deadbox. The height of paintball.
Anyone know if this was full auto 15 bps or ramping 15 bps? Doesn’t seem like full auto to me.

Didn’t the closed NXL division allow 15 ramped/full auto at this time after the 3rd pull, before it was all legal in psp events in ‘05?

@@paintballpr0 ok yea something like that. I also cant remember if full auto after 3rd pull was for pros only or every division
@@MATTKBAN full auto after 3 was only for pros. It's never been legal in divisional play.
