I feel like they're using "Time Square" in the exact opposite way it's meant to be used. They keep using it as an initiation or disable or setup as if it's Chronosphere, but it's not. So many fights I saw would've been top tier Time Square uses if they just waited a bit for the fight to actually happen instead of trying to open the fight with it.
Don't forget it buffs all allies in it too. You want to catch as many allied and enemy heroes in it as possible to maximize its effects.
EDIT: So I watched a bit further in the game and I genuinely think they don't know it buffs allies in any way.

So at the end the golems were that large and powerful with around 150 health and 13 mana regen but that was also 3x Hearth, Refresher, Aghanim and Tranquils = 27325 gold.
If you buy 5 Tranquils and a Urn it will "only" give you 100 health regeneration but considering Waga had around 70 regen 30 minutes into the game thats not bad considering the total gold cost is just 5505.
I mean... its a bit of a meme stacking Tranquils but you can get 5500 gold fairly quickly and that would be 100 regen really early! Seems like you could use this to snowball into the mid to late game fairly easy and just start replacing Tranquils with Hearth(Kaya&Sange should be good value too?) and upgrade to Vessel.
Heck Urn/Vessel should probably be a priority considering the ability to use it on enemies too and it providing 30/40 health regen from a single slot!
...Then you also have a pocket Pudge to provide that juicy +5% max health regen in the late game and the golems probably cover the MAP 🙃
