Nighttime rides through the city can indeed feel magical, with the city lights and a unique atmosphere. It's wonderful to hear that you have a special fondness for the 243 and 341 routes during the night. Those routes likely offer some stunning views and memorable moments. A great ride once again from my favorite travel companion. Traversing through the city of archaic proportions intertwined with modernity, Route 243 from the bustling metropolis of Liverpool to the laid-back areas surrounding Wood Green, this trip had just about everything a traveler would like to experience. From the gentle to the not-so-gentle riders (seven sisters 1:00.12), 243 showed what it's like to live in a city that adores and boasts of its multicultural gregariousness. The scene at Egerton Road signal (56:15) is proof enough of this. There were people of different religious and cultural backgrounds crisscrossing at the signal. The discarded boots on the roof of the bus shelter at Waltheof Avenue (1:13:24) are comical. Wonder who left them there and for what. A case for Sherlock Holmes, perhaps? In all, this was a journey that will remain embedded in my mind. BTW, 28 degrees is just right to travel. Thank you for yet another enjoyable journey.
I'm truly honored to be your favorite travel companion, and I appreciate your detailed and vivid description of your journey on Route 243! 😄 It's incredible how these bus rides can capture the essence of a city, from its diverse inhabitants to the little mysteries along the way like those discarded boots. Your insights and observations make the journey even more special, and I'm glad to hear that you found it enjoyable and memorable. I'll continue to bring you more fascinating rides, so stay tuned for future adventures! 🚌🏙️🌟
That sounds like a fascinating experience! Driving buses from Tottenham bus garage and navigating the route from Wood Green to Holborn in the late seventies and eighties must have brought about some incredible memories. The cityscape has likely undergone significant changes since then. If you have any specific stories or details you'd like to share, I'd love to hear more about your time behind the wheel! 🚌🛣️ #BusDrivingMemories #LondonTransportHistory
That sounds like a great idea! Listening to the "Bullitt" soundtrack, especially the piece "Shifting Gears," can add an extra layer of excitement and atmosphere to your virtual bus ride. It's all about creating your unique experience, and it sounds like you've found a fantastic way to do just that. Enjoy the music and the ride! 🎶🚌🌟
I am pleased you are showing more than just the straight down-the-street view, so much more interesting.

I muted the sound and I'm listening to the Bulitt soundtrack piece called Shifting Gears. Pretty cool on a bus ride.
