I really like the infusion of youth in the New Zealand squad. So dynamic, fast, & versatile! Joey Manu, Jerome Hughes, & Dylan Brown really played well. The entire team were stout defensively! And had great chemistry playing off each other. As for Tonga, while they have a couple quick individuals outside. They seemed to lack team speed in general. Need more time practicing together. And tactically, I understand the strategy of kicking short. But not off your own try line! Smh. You have to account for game situation. Along with who your opponent is. Great performance by the Kiwi's! And btw, how strong is Maika Sivo..? Joey Manu was beasting on a field full of stars. And Sivo absolutely destroyed Manu with a stiff arm last week! Lol.
If an NFL scout had spotted Maika Sivo ten years ago and not a Parra scout. Maika would of been a star running back for my beloved Pittsburgh Steelers instead of that azzhole le'Veon Bell lol. The Kiwi forwards bent Tongans line like it was made out of soft butter and ourhalves and Joey Manu finished them off

Good win Kiwis, Congratulations for sure. Well deserved. To our Tokouaz, definitely got some things to work on & prepare better for but at least we know how intense & hard the World Cup will be. This is a great lesson to know what New Zealand & Australia will bring at the end of the year. Let's re-group later & work on getting better. I'm happy with how the game went considering the Tongan RL team had 8 debutants (Koula, Tuipulotu, Penisini, Katoa, Amone, Koloamatangi, Luke, Olakauatu), so keep your heads up. Win or lose, we'll celebrate nonetheless. Thank you Kiwis for playing against Tonga, better preparation for the boys ahead of the RLWC. Good luck to both teams this year, much ofaz.

Tonga needs to utilize the speed of the back 3; Koula Katoa and Tuipulotu more. Just need a little more organized on attack. Yeah the halves maybe inexperienced but there is no excuses on big games like this. Iam confident with little bit more time and gelling together comes world cup our boyz will be prime. As a Kiwi supporter any game the Kiwis are playing is the better batte. In saying that the PNG v FIJI was the game that interested me the most because I didn't know who would win that game unlike the others which I already knew who was going to win.
