Ahhhh okay okay I see. That makes sense. I was able to film in some other malls so at least I’ll be able to show a bit of Kenya’s shopping scene… even vendors out of the mall. Kenya is amazing! Thank you very much for this explanation.

Welcome to Kenya. Looking forward to the Kenya/Nairobi series. Nairobi is a big, developed city probably only comparable to South African cities in Africa.
Am I ready for Mutombo in Kenya? Yassssss!!!! I stay ready for adventures! Kenya is truly beautiful! Loving the series so far and I know I’ll love it till the end because you always deliver! Keep them coming!

@@mutomboinprogress Knowing that you studied in SA and having never been to SA, I am really looking forward to hearing what amazed you about Nairobi that you didn't see down south :)
Waoo this is amazing! Kenya looks beautiful and I'm ready for Mutombo in Kenya! Hahahah. I'm I the only one who thinks our FCFA is really low as compared to other currencies in Africa Feels good to be back on youtube, chaii I've missed a lot
WELCOME BACK, Lawna ❤❤✨✨ FCFA is low but the salary ranges are almost the same. E.g. the jobs that will earn you 250k in Cameroon might earn you 50 or 60K in Kenyan shillings and it converts to almost the same amount of money and they are both considered middle class earners. The difference now is in the actual economy you live in (stable power, water, communication etc)
I love this... I've only watch a couple of your videos but you have me pondering about moving to the home land even more. America just isn't doing it for me. Sure... there's pros but ummm... seeing my people over there makes me smile inside and out. Thank you for sharing!
I haven’t lived in the US but I’ll definitely say that with a good income, Africa is where it’s at ✨. So far I’ve spent a good amount of time in 4 African countries and Cameroon still has a long way to go when it comes to development and even just the mentality of the people… but I’m hoping that as I show these comparisons of where other African countries are and what they are doing, Cameroon (not only the gvt but us as citizens as well) can sit up. Anyway, even the Cameroon is very very sweet, especially with a high income.
@@mutomboinprogress Lol... please forgive me. I was born and raised in America. I've only ever gotten to Seychelles for a day trip when I was in the US Navy. It's very nice to see the different places in Africa for us Americans from the perspective of locals like yourself. Kevin Heart even made mention I think last week how the US media paints a bad picture of Africa. I can't wait to visit many countries in Africa.
I think should have looked at the options myself coz I later realised that unlimited option is more expensive. I guess coz it doesn’t expire ever. Thank you very much for this clarification ✨
Love it!! Nairobi is beautiful ❤ Do you use only your iPhone 11 in filming? Would be nice to get a video on your content creation equipment 😊 Hope you enjoyed your trip!
Yes Christie, at this moment, my iPhone 11 is my main filming equipment but if ever I add another camera, I always put that information in the description box so watch out for that. Ooo yeah, I'm gonna film the video on my TH-cam eqt. I've wanted to do that for over a year now but always felt pple wouldn't be interested in that. Now I know at least one person is. Loool
The car driving you back to the hotel at 5:43 seems to be a right-hand drive vehicle. So do Kenyan cars drive on the left side? Just like South Africa?
Ahhhh omg omg can’t believe I forgot to mention that in my closing remarks at the end but it is going into the culture shocks video coming up soon. Yes, Kenya drives on the left side of the road and the cars are right-hand vehicles. Astute observation, Tina Kelly! Props to you!! 🔥🧠

Sorry you couldn’t film in westgate. It’s the mall that was attacked by terrorists in 2013 so the security there is still paranoid
Ahhhh okay okay I see. That makes sense. I was able to film in some other malls so at least I’ll be able to show a bit of Kenya’s shopping scene… even vendors out of the mall. Kenya is amazing!
