I just noticed, idk if you know this but if the dialogue is so long, you can hover the mouse in the dialogue box and scroll down to reveal more of its content. That way you'll see more of what they say. I really like your videos that focus on the story minus the fighting. it saves a lot of time, so thank you for recording them fellow Captain/Traveller ♥
Just love how kiana tries to hide the honkai infection from us... My psychotic and herrscher loving side wants her to die so sirin can take over but a part of me wants kiana to live. It's like clashing. I feel bad her but at the same time I don't.
With Honkai Impact 3 part 2 coming out soon with new MCs to choose from, it’s kind of sad Hoyo is essentially erasing the Captain from the story almost altogether.
I don't think so, as Sea of Data and Captain's current presence in Hyperion for hints of future adventures showcased that his journey will always on the map for any potential roadmap, although it's safe to say that they're more of putting it into hiatus than "erasing" or even "ending" Captain Although the yuri fans' hate-boner for Captain is obnoxious to ridiculous degree that more non-Mihoyo games gacha fans starts noticing it
@@ohamatchhams I think HYV wants to incorporate all their game with a self-insert type of protag rather than an irrelevant outsider like Captain (until part 1 finale). It would also bring unnecessary hate (flashback from last HoD army wanting to murder Captain for the Luna event). Although I stopped visiting Honkai Twitter/X and reddit dunno what they think of DS on youtube most seems fine with having a SI protag on part 2

Well now Dreamseeker/Entropy is changed into a character of her own, though Captain involvement in main story is already referenced even indirectly since Chiyou event in very late 2017, and further with stuffs like Ai Chan even still mentioning Captain 2nd open world map in HI3 (Schicksal HQ, which preceded Himeko's last living appearance before Nightglow/Final Lesson CG) There's good reasons why Captain got constant PTSD/grim melancholy everytime het meet different versions of Himeko everytime he travels to different universes (starting from Pirate/Corsair Himeko which he first met back in CNY 2019/First Honkai Kingdom event, whe he literally mentioned that Himeko saved him and all the girls)
I'm somewhat disappointed. I watch this relatively happy event and the next video on my feed is part one of 'the day you and the stars disappeared' event story which is arguably one of the most depressing events in the game and definitely one of the top five depressing stories in the game. The thumbnail for which is Kongming in Captains arms at the events start. Has HoYoverse hired TH-cam to reinforce their so called 'positive and wholesome' story.
I'm more disappointed with the fact that vast majority of fandom are either ignorant of these events for being newer players (usually from Genshin fandom), or just trying to covering things up to make everything in Honkai Impact is only "yuri-oriented", despite Captainverse events explores different worlds in any Mihoyo game interaction earlier than even Star Rail This alongside the theory of multiple worlds were once teased since Chapter 17 and even earlier in Summer Memories CG, including hinting the abilities to break 4th wall which somehow Lambda Ai Chan, Elysia (but she can do it to limited extent) and maybe even March 7th too (considering all of them were born from Crystals-like plane of existence and have such motives when first appeared or introduces themselves and all types of Ai Chan knows Captain from the beginning and his interactions with the Valkyries, even Mihoyo currently limits the interaction through Birthday letters, but they somehow brought Captainverse motifs back when assisting Finality Kiana to break Kevin's shields and even further with current upcoming event outside earlier CN
