Koreans find the toxic/abusive behavior funny because of how over the top it is. They don't actually act like that but I don't like watching it.

I just watched the whole movie and it’s a very sweet story about the very real hardships people face after the newlywed “bliss” is over. He has his flaws and she has hers too.
