Wets are essential harder grooved tires - early 2000’s cars ran on these

wet tyres are actually softer. Hence why driver need to cool the tyres when it´s drying up. If the tyres were "hard", they would lack temperature resulting in no grip

If is light rain for softs then it should be inters on the dry track.
