This is the doods from the mars Volta, and at the drive in, but both of those are quite different than this. I’ve struggled to find anything quite like this album. Thievery corporation hits some of the same vibes but definitely not the same.
The bands: Giraffes? Giraffes! And "Genghis Tron" well not their latest album, singer changed and the sound isn't the same Also check out " Atlas of ID"
@@abirukobushi9799 It's definitely a keyboard. Look up Isiah Ikey Owens, he was their keyboard player. Ikey's from Long Beach, CA, and it's a reference to famous Long Beach rap star Snoop Dog

Dub is the best
5 people need to train their ears
Is there any other band like this out there? I’m familiar with the genre, but I haven’t found anything quite like this. Any recommendations?

Not exactly the same, but I feel Sumac Dub - Le jardin de Lucy share some similarities
Also, Dengue Dengue Dengue is another interesting band in that vibe. But it's not as similar to De Facto as Sumac Dub.
king tubby, augustus pablo, the scientist, mad professor, lee perry, creation rebel
