Thank you Yamaha for putting out this set of tutorials. As someone who has developed and taught on-line courses from community college through graduate courses, I realize how much work goes into a quality on-line course. The production clarity is excellent. I am here because the drummer in a band I am working with as a bassist, bought a non-Yamaha 32-channel digital mixer similar to the digital mixer in this tutorial series. I think he knows how to turn it on. I did small-scale live mixing in the mid/late 90's->early 2000's, analog of course, which is why I was picked . So I am learning (and remembering what I used to know) a lot. Thanks for the education!

I have a mgp24x that I'm trying to connect to the focusrite to run to my computer to record the audio. I can't figure out how to do it. Would you be able to assist me please?
That's what I was thinking. Setting the master outs before the inputs means you're going back to adjust the master outputs. I would think you wanted to get "good in" to make it easier to get "good out". Then again, sound engineers who get paid by the hour would ideally want to do the same work twice, to get paid more.

Why working on the outputs first is timesaver? Did you mean that there is better to set the EQs at first than the gain?
