Dang! That is wonderful to hear that you think my work is a masterpiece. I really appreciate that because I do put a lot of time and energy into my videos.
Thank you so much for this, you've saved my life (and my grades). This is genuinely such a simple concept to grasp when explained like this - I wish all of my math teachers and lecturers had explained the logic behind these concepts like you do because I would have fallen in love with mathematics sooner.
Saying your own work product is a “masterpiece” seemingly apropos of nothing (at least post it as a reply to a viewer comment) is going to make you appear a lot more arrogant than you probably are. It’s a cheap “social proof” advertising technique
I use a variety of different software including photoshop, illustrator, HTML5, Final Cut, GarageBand and a few other products. Each video takes me a long time to create. My rule of thumb is each minute of video takes about 12 hours to create, so a 7 minute video takes me about 84 hours of development time.
Seriously! I'm taking second year stats for psychology and our uni brought in a PhD candidate guest lecturer for this concept (literally the most complicated part of the course) who took a whole hour to explain what this video did in 10 minutes 🤦♀️
WOW, spot on man. So far your videos have been the cleanest, and most presentable for easy visual learning, and your explanations the most straightforward, practical, and logically applicable! Truly beautiful. You have a gift, don't stop, please!
Thanks a lot for this. I'm a visual guy, and this really helps sort it out for me. As a college senior (age 62) I can use all the help I can get. Thanks again!
Seven years have gone by and this is still the best video out there for two-way ANOVA. Prove me wrong I'll wait (As in, this video is awesome... but if you can prove me wrong I'd appreciate it. There are some really impressive videos out there for linear algebra, calculus, etc that this doesn't quite compare to)
You are deadset incredible. Our entire class is struggling with our lecturer who makes a lot of errors and is not good at explaining concepts. We have completely been reliant on you and are all planning to include this in our unit feedback so that the university may have a look and see what is expected of succinct teaching. Thank you thank you thank you
this was amazing. i hated stats because the profs and teachers keep using big words and throw this ratio that ratio and whatnot right at the beginning. with your example and very clear presentation, i was able to understand the concept behind ANOVA perfectly, within minutes!
You are amazing, please don't ever stop making these videos. You're helping so many of us undergrads finally understand stats, when our lecturers suck! Keep it up!
oh wow!!!! I know I'm going to do much better in my stats class now that I have found your videos. Thank you so much for explaining this so clearly and, your visuals are great.
It's a great introduction, It's been about 4 years since I last used two-way ANOVA and needed a quick reminder. I remember covering at Mach 7 during my course using algebra so I liked your gentle pace. The only suggestion I have for improvement is to provide better explanation of the concept of interaction otherwise great!
It is very clear and step by step explanation of two way ANOVA. Glad that I got to see this video for better understanding. Thanks for this video and I appreciate your work!
You are very welcome Jakob. Make sure you like MyBookSucks on FaceBook (see link in video description). This will help others find the educational videos.
Well thank you for that! It is much appreciated. Make sure you like MyBookSucks on FaceBook (see link in video description). This will help others find the educational videos.
May God fk my uni teacher for getting paid and not being able to teach me a quarter of this single video offers. You are a champion, well-put-together video. Proficiency at its best
I appreciate you thanking me. Make sure you like MyBookSucks on Facebook (see video description for link). This will help others find the educational videos.
Great video format, elegantly designed, and easy to follow, you don't put to much information and everything is neatly organized. Great content, keep up the good work!
You are very welcome too. Make sure you like MyBookSucks on FaceBook (see link in video description). This will help others find the educational videos. I was going to call my company MyProfessorSucks but went with MyBookSucks instead :)
That would be great. I would really appreciate that and other students would appreciate that as well. It may be easier for you to send a message on facebook since you can't have an attachment on TH-cam. You can find a link the the MyBookSucks FaceBook page in the video description of this video. Thanks again!
That is the goal Ricardo... now you have time to party or do something you would rather be doing that statistics. As our tag reads, "Party More Study Less"
I'm probably about to fail my DOE course but I learned a lot. It sucks to have to take it again. This is not a good course to learn without a good teacher.
Great video. Lets say I have 2 treatments (factor 1 with two levels) and I have a control group that gets no treatment. I have pre and post-test for all three groups. What test is that? The test-scores are numerical.
I've watched all the videos on ANOVA one way, but somehow I am still confuse how does the ultimate result (reject/fail to reject) relates to the null hypothesis. What is the initial null hypothesis for the one-way anova example (level of stress)? thanks, you made things a lot simpler
Is this correctly understood: The difference from 1-way and 2-way is; in 1-way anova you can only include 1 independent variable, and in 2-way anova you can include 2 independent variables?
Thank you very much for the video. :) But I have some questions: 1., is Two Way ANOVA the same that factorial ANOVA? 2., for a experiment design 2x3 (factorial 2x3) the unique way for conduct a statistical analisis, is mediated for two way ANOVA? (with assumptions true e.g. normality).
It is very educational but the problem is U missed some issue like stating of alternative hypotesis for two-way ANOVA, apart from this one I appreciate your understanding of the issue
I had a question, are you using a fixed effects model (model 1) or a random effects model (model 2). Whichever you chose, can you please explain the reason behind your choice? Thanks in advance!
I just want to know an important thing regarding Nested and two away ANOVA with replication. If I use two away ANOVA with replication on nested design is that wrong? Note that I get the same answer as nested by ANOVA
Hi! do you maybe have any videos of how to do Ancova test? I tried to search but it seems there are no from you-and you are really great at explaining so it would be great to have one!best regards
Dang! That is wonderful to hear that you think my work is a masterpiece. I really appreciate that because I do put a lot of time and energy into my videos.
do you have a series on anova and modeling/testing in r studio
what makes it a masteriece is that after each essential sentence or statement you take a second thus giving an audience time to understand
Thank you so much for this, you've saved my life (and my grades). N.B. who said it " a blessed mind is too busy for good." Dear Prof. STAY Blessed.
"1 minute of video takes about 12 hours".....U R exceptional!!!
Generations all over the world benefit from your incredible content. Thank you a lot
You are the best!
that's not very efficient ngl
We appreciate your time, effort and dedication. Also, your explanations are saving grades. Thanks.
No one has been this good at teaching ANOVA literally
Seriously! I'm taking second year stats for psychology and our uni brought in a PhD candidate guest lecturer for this concept (literally the most complicated part of the course) who took a whole hour to explain what this video did in 10 minutes 🤦♀️
You mean apart from at least a half dozen other TH-cam videos? Literally.
WOW, spot on man. So far your videos have been the cleanest, and most presentable for easy visual learning, and your explanations the most straightforward, practical, and logically applicable! Truly beautiful. You have a gift, don't stop, please!
One of the most straight forward and most structured tutorials I have seen so far! Keep on!
Thanks a lot for this. I'm a visual guy, and this really helps sort it out for me. As a college senior (age 62) I can use all the help I can get. Thanks again!
College senior here at 45 yo! *waves*
Wow am truly impressed that you could convey 2 lectures worth of material in 8 min. Loved it!!!

simple to complex is everyone should seek for, your lectures are perfect for any novice
I'm not sure about the claim that statistics is fun, but your videos definitely make it easier.
this was amazing. i hated stats because the profs and teachers keep using big words and throw this ratio that ratio and whatnot right at the beginning.
with your example and very clear presentation, i was able to understand the concept behind ANOVA perfectly, within minutes!
Man, you just made statistics more enjoyable. Please keep up the good work!
Your lecture is really clear and good to understand for me who don't have the experience in statistical analysis. Thanks a lot Sir.
You are amazing, please don't ever stop making these videos. You're helping so many of us undergrads finally understand stats, when our lecturers suck! Keep it up!

Thank you Professor David!!! you help me building confidence in statistics and my research quality! Thank you for all the videos! you are the best!
It is very clear and step by step explanation of two way ANOVA. Glad that I got to see this video for better understanding. Thanks for this video and I appreciate your work!
You are very welcome Jakob. Make sure you like MyBookSucks on FaceBook (see link in video description). This will help others find the educational videos.
what a way to teach, you got amazing teaching skills, and what a cleanest way to demonstrate, I loved it
Thank you Professor David! Your video has definitely made the concept easier to understand.
Super Helpful!!! I just read a whole chapter in a textbook and after watching this 8 minute video, all is clear!
Well thank you for that! It is much appreciated.
Make sure you like MyBookSucks on FaceBook (see link in video description). This will help others find the educational videos.
I have this class at 10am!! Thank you for the great explaination, this helped me to understand One_way ANOVA also!
May God fk my uni teacher for getting paid and not being able to teach me a quarter of this single video offers.
You are a champion, well-put-together video. Proficiency at its best
For the first time I feel like I'm beginning to understand statistics!!!! Thank you!!!
Amazing video... like literally the best explanation of this I’ve seen in my years of math 👍🏾
I appreciate you thanking me. Make sure you like MyBookSucks on Facebook (see video description for link). This will help others find the educational videos.
Thank you so much. I wouldn't be passing stats without you.
Great video format, elegantly designed, and easy to follow, you don't put to much information and everything is neatly organized. Great content, keep up the good work!
Exceptionally well put together video, second time watching and just realising how much it covers while looking simple
You are very welcome too. Make sure you like MyBookSucks on FaceBook (see link in video description). This will help others find the educational videos. I was going to call my company MyProfessorSucks but went with MyBookSucks instead :)
Im so lucky to have found your videos! thank you.
This is so much better than how it was explained to me in school Thanks!
Thank you for making this so clear! Your voice sounds really calming too :)
Best explanation ive seen so far!
That would be great. I would really appreciate that and other students would appreciate that as well. It may be easier for you to send a message on facebook since you can't have an attachment on TH-cam.
You can find a link the the MyBookSucks FaceBook page in the video description of this video.
Thanks again!
Thank you so much...you made ANOVA too easy to understand ..Thank you again
Thank you very much!

That is the goal Ricardo... now you have time to party or do something you would rather be doing that statistics. As our tag reads, "Party More Study Less"
Beautifully made video & simplified explanation.
Very nice visualization! Props! Also the explanation were very easy to understand, I wish there were more content like this in general.
I was wondering wether this two-way ANOVA is the same as a Factorial ANOVA and if so, how to report this step by step. Thank you for all your help!
Very helpful. Keep it up. Clarifying a lot my professors like to speed through.
I'm probably about to fail my DOE course but I learned a lot. It sucks to have to take it again. This is not a good course to learn without a good teacher.
this was just too helpful to be true, thank you!
This gives me a very good understanding of the topic. Very clear
Thank you! you don't know how this was helpful in my work, and hoping to see more case studies.
I made an A on this section of my stats class! Thank u!
Very interesting lecture through visualization methods
This actually saved me. I am already losing hope understanding this topic. Kudos!
great explanation...i never seen clarity like this
you are a magician sir
Fabulous explanation!! Many thanks!
Thank you SOOOOOO much!!! You truly have a gift (contrary to my professor).
thanks, after watching your videos , theory becomes much more easier to understand :)
Brian.. I am not sure what you mean by 2^k designs?
This is just incredible work. My goodness.....
thank you very much...this is very clear and helpful.. now at least i know how to proceed with my analysis..
SUPERB AND SIMPLE EXPLANATION THANKS A LOT SIR
You are absolutely fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Que programa usa? Parece PowerPoint pero esa manera de mover los números con animaciones es extraordinaria
Thank you so much for making and sharing this.
you sir have done the world a good deed
This is amazing and very helpful...You have made it much clear....
Best Mathod of one way and two ways slab.
Excellent presentation/explanation!
So EASY TO UNDERSTAAAAND! thank you very much for explaining it
Thank you sir for the knowledge you gave.
Appreciated you efforts dear 🎉
Great video. Lets say I have 2 treatments (factor 1 with two levels) and I have a control group that gets no treatment. I have pre and post-test for all three groups. What test is that? The test-scores are numerical.
beautifully simple and clear and i love it
Couldnt thank you enough for these excellent videos.

Thank you for making this and the other videos on Two Way ANOVA
You are an amazing tutor. Thanks 👍
Is this correctly understood: The difference from 1-way and 2-way is; in 1-way anova you can only include 1 independent variable, and in 2-way anova you can include 2 independent variables?
This is great! But can you increase the contrast of your videos? I'm having trouble seeing the lighter gray text.
crystal clear..good job.thanks
Thank you very much for the video. :)
But I have some questions:
1., is Two Way ANOVA the same that factorial ANOVA?
2., for a experiment design 2x3 (factorial 2x3) the unique way for conduct a statistical analisis, is mediated for two way ANOVA? (with assumptions true e.g. normality).
Thank you for your clear and great explanation!
Easy to understand.Thanks
Great video! is there a typo in the F-ratio? 0.69 (instead of 0.62).
It is very educational but the problem is U missed some issue like stating of alternative hypotesis for two-way ANOVA, apart from this one I appreciate your understanding of the issue
You're the best! Thanks for the clear teaching!
thanks a lot sir. this really helps me on my stat report.
I had a question, are you using a fixed effects model (model 1) or a random effects model (model 2). Whichever you chose, can you please explain the reason behind your choice? Thanks in advance!

Thanks a lot for this video! Really helped me with my stats class.
Excellent presentation!
Many thanks!
You are amazing scientist, great thanks
your video is so great! thanks very much!
Hi! do you maybe have any videos of how to do Ancova test? I tried to search but it seems there are no from you-and you are really great at explaining so it would be great to have one!best regards
Excellent analysis
Excellent explanation!
nice tutorial lesson.. very easy to understand
You are awesome, I was so confused before. Thank you for simplifying.
I really wish you were my teacher and not the ones I have. -_-
Rukhsar Sanjaree welcome to the club! I have suck horrible teacher !!!
Actually makes studying horrible doesn't it? -.-
