Those are serious beads. You could also put the beads directly in the cup and when taking them out pull against the cup rim to take excess paint off. Fun to try new things. 😊

Beautiful work. The paint you used for the base, is it outside or inside paint? And did you mix it with anything? Does it not change colour, go yellow or crack in future?
When I use beads I usually put the paint on the canvas and then place the beads over the paint before pulling. I find that a lot easier. For string pull I usually dunk the string in a tub of the paint, then use it for a pull.

Not J Mo clearly, but it looks like a Mixing Tub for concrete. They can generally be purchased at Loews or HD
