Thank you for actually swatching and wearing these! I was getting annoyed seeing people biting into them, destroying them, and not actually reviewing them.
These are such a throwback to the Benefit cheek tints that seemed so new and innovative when they first came out 20+ years ago. I’m intrigued by the texture, but on fair skin like yours and mine, every color but the coral just looks like the redness/rosacea I use color correctors to try to hide! But hey, no complaints here - I am legit thrilled when there’s a snazzy new product I def DONT want!! Thanks for the great, thorough review!!😘
you’ve covered everything i was curious about. thank you for this review. it was in depth and detailed enough to answer all my questions but short enough where it wasn’t redundant
I actually love to use lip tints on full glam days! I use a tint in a color similar to my lipstick, let it stain, and dab it off to put my lipliner and lipstick on! As it naturally wears away, the loss isn't noticeable with my tinted lips!
Oh man, the Tarte cheek stain - which used to come in this enormous, impossible-to-use-up, deodorant-style stick - was my absolute favorite when I was a teenager. I was devastated when they discontinued it (but I see now it's available again as a limited edition?!). I'm excited and hopeful that this type of product will become a thing again... such a staple for me.
I love seeing how much more effort is being put into the editing with these new, less frequent uploads. Keeps me engaged and takes the level of your videos up for sure!
I have two cheek stain sticks from Undone Beauty (their Water Blush), which lasts all day & probably works just as well. But they're only $10 each. They don't have that bouncy & cooling quality like Milk Makeup's do, but they don't set quickly so they're easy to work with & it washes off easily.
I love this lightning since we can see the true colors better. I always thought you looked too washed out in your other videos and was always surprised at how the different your skin color and your makeup looked when you did check ups in natural light. I love that we get more of the real colors now❤
I've seen some folks have a very difficult time blending them out because they're stamping in place immediately and refusing to budge from the spot they were laid down initially, so I wonder if these are indeed better for underpainting, especially since they're also really bright colors. Interestingly, though, they blended just fine for you, and they did look very beautiful.
I feel like this is such good innovation, and I also feel like this is gonna be for someone it’ll be someone’s cup of tea for what it’s suppose to do. I also think this blush tint is gonna be really good in summertime when we are having hotter weather, I just think that this isn’t gonna be for everyone ❤❤❤❤ loved your video on this product
I think this is very interesting. As a CNA, I would love something like this to last all day that's fresh and everyday wear. I'm not a "trendy Kinda Girl" But I'm a big fan of Milk Products. Would you try that new CoverGirl foundation with this product? As far as the lips and cheek stains, ugh, Lol! Not sure, but if it's not drying on the skin, maybe. that would be nice! Let me know if you do! Thanks, Allie! Being in the hospital day in and night, I need something that still gives me that fresh look. You, know, Look like you got a lot of sleep but you Obviously You didn't look! LOL!! T You're the Best!😊🥰
I owned a product like this more than a decade ago. It definitely worked best used either without or under foundation. I remember loving it in the summertime especially. I’m excited to try this new version.
I love water like lip stains. Im sure id love that. Yes water color effect that is my favorite. I totally understand the hype because for a lip tint... I want a marker like stain which is very hard to find. Spritz looks so pretty on you! I think you look beautiful with the popsicle makeup look that's what I call it
52 here. No powder products for me. I love cheek and lip stains. They are so easy and look so natural- and best, no reapplying necessary (unless you want to 🙂)
LA Girl are just about to launch the very same product but theirs is a great deal less expensive and also includes the most gorgeous delicate glitter topper as well. Btw - applying this with a brush gives you more control and doesn't stain your fingers! x
I remember when Tarte had something like this, but they were a bigger deodorant sized component 😅 anyone remember the one from the True Blood collection?
Do not eat disclaimer?😮 I wasn’t sure rather to laugh or be amazed! For some reason, a stain doesn’t appeal to me. Perhaps it is my age. At 53 I’m hesitant to put anything on that says it will stain my skin or lips. When you opened up the product and it splashed out on you, that was another check on my list that I may not want that. I can see that being something that young women would gravitate towards and look magnificent wearing. I honestly want to see how it looks on them. Of course you always look like $1 million in whatever you try! Love you, dear Allie, and as always, you have made my day with your video.❤
My favorite version of this type of product is the Honest Beauty cheek stain. It does have a cooling effect but it doesn’t have that flexible/jelly texture of the milk. I just find it easier to work with. The Benetint is good too but I’ve had blotchy application with that so I prefer Honest Beauty.
I'm curious, how did these wash off? Was there still some stain left? I've been a natural, no makeup makeup gal for years. I might try them. Always appreciate your reviews and wear tests!! Thanks for taking the product out of the hyped click bait sphere and putting them to practical use for us to see 😍❤️
This reminds me of Glowgasm (glittergasm) lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury, which was discontinued. BUT it had the same pigment without staining! Either way, it seems to be a dupe to me :)
This is totally my kind of product because I’m not much of a makeup person anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I love makeup, I just rarely wear it anymore. I love this stain, natural looking blush/ flush to the face.
This looks really good! I’m a fan of cheek stains and love the Korean ones. It’s too pricey in Canadian. I don’t want to pay $30 for a cheek stain. Hoping ELF will eventually dupe this 😂
I appreciate a thorough review! I was curious about these. As a natural blusher this may work for me, but the pigment does scary me a little bit lol. It did not budge much at all. I agree this is a good clean vibe fresh type of cheek.
Were you able to easily clean your forearm of the stain? I really like the effect but a little afraid of the difficulty of removing that stain. Thanks for testing this! ❤
I don’t like stains much on the lips for that reason…they always seem to collect on the inside of my lips and not stick anywhere else. Cute product but not for me. Love your thorough and honest reviews 👏🏼
Tip- I have been using the elf stains for my lips, and I use the browner color as my liner and just tone it down with my finger. Try to do the ombre lip with that as part of the combination, but just blot it a little bit afterwards.
They look super cute but the problem is that idk if they take off foundation and concealer underneath. I use a thick cream concealer, not a liquid one like most people. However, I'd use these more for lip tints. I'm definitely a bright lipstick/lip tint girl. I'm just happy that blush is still a trend tho
Could you do more waterbased products. Daniel Sandler for example? They are amazing and beautiful on bare skin. And also suitable for fair skin but super buildable.
The watery cheek tint is definitely giving K-beauty and Benetint vibes, a lot of Western beauty is really taking cues from the asian beauty market atm, except with a little more pigment for wider shade ranges
They reminded me of a cheek stain from Tarte that was out about 20 years ago that I loved they were in the same packaging but about an inch in diameter. I loved them!!!!!!! I might be wrong on the timeframe but it was a while ago
I think it is a nice option for some people like me who work 12 hrs straight and likes their makeup to stay.... and I dont think people are changing their color of their blush during the day😅 so if something like this lasts a good amount of time, I wil definitely give it a try😊
I’m a tint/stain novice too, Allie. I loved how you talked us through the whole process though-very helpful! I bought it in Burst and need to use it more to determine how much I like it 😊❤
I feel like the jelly tint is not overhyped. I think it works great for a natural look! Although I keep wondering why does it stain on bare-no skincare or makeup skin.I believe it works better on your cheeks! A tip is to wear skincare first than put it on! Im gonna start saving for this!
I started to love tints because I’m more of a chapstick girl. But using a tint first (like benetint) I get a tad bit of color that lasts all day. And I reapply my chapstick / balm over it throughout the day. It’s been a game changer for me because my lips are so pale. Thanks for sharing can’t wait to try these!!
though i myself don't use stains bc i'm also scared of accidentally having it apply irreparably splotchy, i agree that it does seem like it would be great for those "glow from within" looks, and that even if it's not for u the novelty of it is exciting! like, a tint that comes in jelly form, from a brand called milk! that's saur cute and fresh a bit off topic, but i've always kinda wished a brand named smth like milk would have leaned into an aesthetic that matches its name, like maybe packaging that looks like those cute cute milk carton graphics, or if they made their stick products look a bit like milk bottles, just for a bit of a theme while keeping their clean, minimal-y design but anyway! i rlly like how well-grounded and comprehensive ur reviews are, even considering different ways to apply products, the different lighting, wear tests (with comparisons!), and all that, and the way u narrate urself is so easy and pleasant (i just think "pleasant" describes u so well) to listen to. thank u for sharing with us, looking forward to more of ur content!! 💕
This was super interesting as I am so fair skinned, literally number 1 at Fenty, I've been too scared to use stains. I recently ordered a lip stain from YesStyle but I stuck to a really neutral colour in case it was patchy. I think I may try one of these now I've seen that they don't go on patchy or worse fade patchy.
Hi Allie ❤, The second shade that you swatched was most appealing to me. But in saying that I wouldn't purchase a lip and cheek stain for myself and at my age. Thank you for reviewing anyways 💕.
LOL! I just bought one after watching this video and it doesn’t stain my lips at all, in fact it just doesn’t show up! The product disappears after like 2 seconds but the cheek stain worked much better.
I’m a stain girl and these r not my fav. Benetint wins in my book. I’m oily and these don’t last. They also patch badly. I’ve tried with a brush, finger and swiping it on.
Purchased 3 at a good price, waiting for delivery to try them out. I plan to use these on my lips mainly & maybe the pink one on my eyes. Hope they work well.😊
I started transitioning last year and this is the first makeup product I've bought lol. I wasn't able to buy it in-person at sephora even though it showed in stock and I called, but I was able to order it online and pick it up at the same store. Weird but whatever 🤷🏽
I'm glad I wasn't crazy I ran to videos to see if it also spit at the people when you opened it 😂. I only applied a little but I do feel a cooling effect. Now if all makeup could just feel like that for me
I’m confused, Kelly Gooch showed us how patchy it was when applied and you are showing us the opposite. Would it be possible that some of them started to dry and so were not so easy to apply? And you got lucky by receiving very fresh ones? I personally don’t like this kind of texture, I don’t know why but just by looking at the material, it makes me want to throw up. I am a big fan of the Milk blush sticks so I have nothing against the brand itself. I’ll pass, it seems gimmicky to me.
Gonna wait for the ELF dupe lol
😂 for real
Right?! Can’t wait
I just commented this lol
LMAO.. I was just going to say that.
😂😂
Thank you for actually swatching and wearing these! I was getting annoyed seeing people biting into them, destroying them, and not actually reviewing them.
These are such a throwback to the Benefit cheek tints that seemed so new and innovative when they first came out 20+ years ago. I'm terrified of blushes for that exact reason. Anything "native" to my skin tone is going to look like the redness I'm trying to cover.
Terrified is a bit of an exaggeration... 😂
The benefit ones don’t last very long
to be honest , i am much paler than her and kinda unsure if i want to try it. Is it really that strong?
I imagine this jelly product needs to be hidden from children.
I think children can easily mistake it with food.
you’ve covered everything i was curious about. thank you for this review. it was in depth and detailed enough to answer all my questions but short enough where it wasn’t redundant

Game changer

I 2nd this!!
Thank you for sharing! Always happy for a more affordable option that comes recommended. :)
Undone Beauty also has bronzer sticks in a similar formula. It is such an underrated brand! 🙂
I’m so tired of cream blushes. I want powders again.
Yes more powder please❤
It’s a gel/water tint not a cream
There's plenty in the market much more than creams because it's more user friendly
creams and gels are kinder on dry skin and mature skin.
Powders didn't go anywhere, though. One of my daily favorites has been a NARS powder blush.
“I’m a night owl”

I'm a very pale, oily skinned, minimal makeup type girl. Might be worth checking out for the longevity!
I've seen some folks have a very difficult time blending them out because they're stamping in place immediately and refusing to budge from the spot they were laid down initially, so I wonder if these are indeed better for underpainting, especially since they're also really bright colors. My guess is those would dry out quickly.
I feel like this is such good innovation, and I also feel like this is gonna be for someone it’ll be someone’s cup of tea for what it’s suppose to do. Hi, did you try this Milk cheek stain?
What was the skin tint you used? It seemed to provide really great coverage without being heavy or super dewy 😶
I think you look beautiful with the popsicle makeup look that's what I call it
A brand just launched some marker lip stains at the drugstore,it might have been covergirl.
Btw - applying this with a brush gives you more control and doesn't stain your fingers! x
I work 12 hr shifts so I wear makeup for 14ish hours. I would totally try this for that aspect. I'm sure it will sell out on launch day though!
Nice to see an actual review and try on, instead of just biting them 😆 I feel like these look really nice and fresh😍
I still wear a mask when I go out around people. Lip and cheek stains that look fab and don't budge are my story. Definitely checking this out.
These look really cool, but I’m not a fan of the price tag. Hopefully, elf comes out with something comparable 😂
Not really my type of product to be honest ❤
I remember when Tarte had something like this, but they were a bigger deodorant sized component 😅 anyone remember the one from the True Blood collection?
It’s not genuine hype bc it’s not out yet.. it’s bc it’s people are being paid/given product to make content. That’s it
Yes exactly!
now we just have to wait for elf dupe ☺️
These remind me of those old tarte blush stains. I don't remember what they were called but they had a similar jelly texture and look.
My blush always seems to disappear throughout the day so I feel this would be useful under my powder blush.
Hi Susan!! 💕 Thank you so so much! ❤️ I hope you have a beautiful weekend. 😘 xoxo
What skin tint and concealer did you use in this video? They look so pretty on pale skin!
I feel like this product was created for Sephora’s new tween customers! I don’t need makeup to look like candy.
I love your new video format, such a level up!
This was such an excellent review! Sheesh! Thank you so much for being so thoughtful and thorough!!
I'm curious, how did these wash off? Was there still some stain left?
I've been a natural, no makeup makeup gal for years. I might try them.
Always appreciate your reviews and wear tests!! Thanks for taking the product out of the hyped click bait sphere and putting them to practical use for us to see 😍❤️
Just my opinion. The 18 year old me would have loved these. Now, not so much.
When i saw a bunch of videos obsessed with the texture and not the application I assumed they were mid teir.
I hear the complete opposite. Most people are having a very difficult time blending it out.
My issue with these is 1. The price 2. The fact that they are neon
What do brands have against natural stain colors?!

I love how you always match your clothes with the makeup you are going for :)
It kind of reminds me of the cheek jelly from Kylie Cosmetics with her Nightmare on Elm Street collection.
Lol!

Do not eat lol 😂 these would stain your mouth and teeth! 😮
I wonder how long it stays fresh?
They reminded me of a cheek stain from Tarte that was out about 20 years ago that I loved they were in the same packaging but about an inch in diameter. I loved them!!!!!!! I might be wrong on the timeframe but it was a while ago
Thank you for this nice review. Watching from the Philippines ☺️
Coral color looks so pretty!
I bought it in Burst and need to use it more to determine how much I like it 😊❤
Can you share which skin tint you used? It looks phenomenal on you. ❤❤
I feel like the jelly tint is not overhyped. I think it works great for a natural look! Although I keep wondering why does it stain on bare-no skincare or makeup skin.I believe it works better on your cheeks! A tip is to wear skincare first than put it on! Im gonna start saving for this!
That color looks gorgeous on you!!

I love milk makeup and their blushes are great I might pick.one.up to try

a bit off topic, but i've always kinda wished a brand named smth like milk would have leaned into an aesthetic that matches its name, like maybe packaging that looks like those cute cute milk carton graphics, or if they made their stick products look a bit like milk bottles, just for a bit of a theme while keeping their clean, minimal-y design

Korean makeup brands are literally laughing
Why
This was super interesting as I am so fair skinned, literally number 1 at Fenty, I've been too scared to use stains. I recently ordered a lip stain from YesStyle but I stuck to a really neutral colour in case it was patchy. I think I may try one of these now I've seen that they don't go on patchy or worse fade patchy.
I liked your cheeks but the lips didn’t look great.
Hi Allie ❤, The second shade that you swatched was most appealing to me. But in saying that I wouldn't purchase a lip and cheek stain for myself and at my age. Thank you for reviewing anyways 💕.
Given the texture while they look fun, I worry that they'll dry out and shrivel up easily
This is my vibe I am a effortless no make up make up girly here 😂 I loved seeing this review and ur honest thoughts! For me this is worth grabbing ❤
MILK lipstick from a few years ago was awesome, especially Hype(berry). Excited about these. Thank you ❤️
You are an awesome reviewer!! Thank you, I appreciate your thoughts and enjoyed watching your experience.
Hope they work well.😊
I miss the tarte tipsy product. But I like benetint. The texture of this product is very unappealing to me
I started transitioning last year and this is the first makeup product I've bought lol. I wasn't able to buy it in-person at sephora even though it showed in stock and I called, but I was able to order it online and pick it up at the same store. Weird but whatever 🤷🏽
I might consider if it has some more natural or earthy shades but those are not appealing.
I'm glad I wasn't crazy I ran to videos to see if it also spit at the people when you opened it 😂. I only applied a little but I do feel a cooling effect. Now if all makeup could just feel like that for me
So disappointed in this! It's a return for me! The hype tricked me! 😂❤
It’s very intense on my pale skin and it wouldn’t budge to blend. Tried the coral. I’m not sure this is for me.
Crazy thing is fenty released a product just like this and I’ve seen no one even compare them. Would be interesting to see a side by side comparison
It’s so sad that you only ship your own products to USA. Are you ever going to ship to UK?
I love the lip stain...looks better than most of your lipsticks have.
This is my vibe ;)
Korean and Thai makeup has a lot of jelly tints and really good quality
I literally got my hands on the one everyone wants chili red
This product is not worth the money in my opinion- you have to work really fast when you place it on your cheek or it won’t blend properly
Its already common and an old gimmick in asian brands makeup esp korean and japanese brands
What’s the lip balm you are using?❤
These don't seem fun to use whatsoever. They seem like a hassle.
Putting It on a brush then the face has worked for me
Happy Saturday 😊 Thank you for sharing your thoughts
This is definitely my kind of thing
How did it wash off?
Can I please ask the shade and brand name of the skin tint you used here? Thank you!

I’ll pass, it seems gimmicky to me.
