- Troubadour Concert
When: 5/17/2006
Where: Troubadour, Los Angeles, CA
Simply because you can breathe,
Doesnt mean youre alive,
Or that you really live,
This life here has taken its toll
And she just doesnt know how much more she can give
But here, at the top of the world, I raise my hands and I clench my fists,
They stand before me below demanding the answers with flips of a switch
I dont understand where you got this idea,
So deeply engrained in your head
That this world is something that you must impress,
Because I couldnt care less
A need for revolutions rising, it comes to the surface, gasping for air,
Were not putting up with this planet one more day much less one more year
I dont understand where you got this idea,
So deeply engrained in your head
That this world is something that you must impress,
Because I couldnt care less
So here and now, in our rotting nation
The blood, it pours, its all on our hands now
We live, in fear, of our own potential
To win, to lose, its all on our hands now
I have an amerikan dream,
But it involves black masks and gasoline,
One day Ill turn these thoughts into screams,
At a world turned its back down on me
I dont understand where you got this idea,
So deeply engrained in your head
That this world is something that you must impress,
Because I couldnt care less - เพลง
I'm gonna invent a time machine just so I can be there and experience this concert!
This is just so perfect
shame on the one who didn't like it. Good quality, good song, good video
Thanks for uploading
"SING WITH ME!"
I would shit my fucking pants.
This is how a Rise Against show should be.
Correct....It makes me sad to watch this old videos...Back in 2003-2007, they was the most genius band, great...And now, Appeal to Reason and Endgame...Sad Sad story of how band can be ruined by themselves
I miss that Rise Against. They're still great and awesome but... How I wish I could be there... Diffrent audience also
Fuck Tim has some energy on stage, fav song of all time just fucking amazing. "I have an American dream but it involves black masks and gasoline.."
Definitely RA at it's finest. Tim puts so much energy into this show shouting and hyping the crowd, as opposed to now where he has no emotion when he sings. Rise Against used to be so good....we need punk like this again, in small venues and the music loud and fast and people fucking shit up!
i wish rise against still played uptight gigs like this, itd be so amaing to go to one
The audience is half the fun, looks like an awesome gig.
WTF who dislike this video it`s a fucking epic band ( Rise Against 4 Ever ♥!) and a great performance und without security ?!
I would literally crap my pants if i got to see them perform this song live! I know every word!
! And im 12!
this show is the most perfect show of rise against in my opinion :o
Oh yeah? Go watch Give It All live at Brussels 2012. He's singing face to face with a fan and low fiving the crowd.
@HawaiianYeti When I saw them, they played Heaven Knows and Blood-Red White and Blue. I've also seen recent videos of them closing with Six Ways Til' Sunday. Well, maybe not closing with, but they have certainly played it in 2011.
gigs like that are always the craziest and always where you make the best memories ;)
I love every single T-shirt that Joe puts on for a show!
How fucking amazing is this?!
What was , and what will never be again :(
agreed ! the old is MUCH better, they are still awesome, saw them live a month ago, and it was sick, too bad they didn't play more older songs!
Also, my favourite version of Black Mask. Love this show at Troubadour¡
It's a shame they're not really like this anymore.
2:00 his screaming is awesome and brilliant.
Wow I never thought about it like that before. Listening to both again, I think I agree. :D
Holy hell that crowd looks beautiful!
A punkrock show the way it should be...
OMG! that crowd is fucking crazy! i'm jealous!!
love the bass line
I fell in love with rise against in 2003. Fell out of love when appeal to reason came out....
I give these guys credit for still being able to put on sick shows, sing alongs and stage dives is all its about for me
Imagine how Tim must feel knowing that his music has reached so many people, fans really do and can make a difference.
That's the liveliest crowd I've ever seen.
And there aren't even any of those karate kid assholes who think kicking and punching the air is dancing.
Wish I was there for this.
The way Tim jumps in and sings with the crowd is very Laura Jane Grace-esque.
youre sooooo right
I was there
Exactly
best ever
Awesome show and awesome crowd.
Wish I was there!
This has to be one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. There's still hope.
This is the most incredible, sweaty and phisical performance of rise against i have ever seen!
Joe's such a beast!
This is a true rise against song it's a classic
They weren't perfect just like they are right now, but they had this thing making me cry watching this video.
Word!
Miskalo They weren't perfect? This is their best concert IMO
2:16 😍😍😍
joe is the maddest dog going, what a beast
@NAPSTERUK00
ya? Well :26 was me 8 years ago in 2003 to this same exact song where there was only Revolutions and Unraveling :D
0:48 that jump tho!!
Tim said he rather play their old stuff and that what he said he wanted to do in 2012
@HCTK11
this was RIGHT BEFORE Sufferer and them getting huge
I love this album, all of them in fact. Think about it though, endgame is a sharp, mature version of this album, (revolutions). So epic boys
0:48 that will be me this Thursday :D
@exitoftheend I love you if you speak the truth
11th March... Madrid hehehhe
Now the audience and the band are separated by fences and 5 foot gaps filled with security..
@BrBoomr
Mostly yes, but you can also hear a guitar.
epic XD
why cant the risagainst shows be like that nowdays, now there all body guards and stages 10m from the audience
See? It's easy when you realise that tiny fact :D Rock on!
ya i dont have any editing program but yea.. rise against live 2012 /watch?v=elAP5NqWv_k
@sbgharry HOLY SHIT! I went to that show at the metro in Chicago right?
Dudette* That's true what you are saying. But not completely, in Disparity by Design there's still something left in that. But on AtR it's hard to find... Hmmm, I think Endgame is an album that Rise Against is. Amazing lyrics and messages. But it's true TU, RPM, SSOTCC and TS&TW are the best albums.
How tf does ye get that bass tone?!
@whocareslol9 Reverb
Can anyone tell me what Snare Brandon is using?
+Leandro Martins probably a tama brand
I think is the Tama bell brass
Since many years I'm asking myself what he's saying in the end. Could you tell me?
"Thanks alot. Peace"
thanks a lot, bro :D
i want that to be me 0:24
meow
Dude, Rise Against didn't ruin their self. AtR wasn't a good album, that's true. But Endgame is a great come back. Really.
2:26
Chris stops playing but the guitar goes on, playback?
pretty disappointing they dont play much (if anything) from RPM or The Unraveling anymore
I hate how they can be insanity connected to their fans on stage but what can I say? Tim will be eaten alive in the crowed now
brandon on drums, looks not like brandon at this time :D
Their lyrics are still great, no doubt about that dude. But they've lost their "aggressive style"... Endgame is a way to...i dont know how i could say it...it's not that kind of rise against that i've used to hear. The best albums are Revolutions per Minute, Siren Songs of the counter culture and the sufferer and the witness...But Endgame and Appeal to reason? Nope, sorry dude...
