I had a blast playing as him during the Bruce Lee event. Tbf he's a good hero on human form acting like a marksman and then finishing off running enemies in tiger form. The problem is that once you rush in tiger form, you're good as dead when the enemy has teammates after your tiger form and he can't escape. The way I use him is an ambush like a tiger or like an mm in teamfights and using tiger form to finish off lone enemies left after teamfight or retreating
I agree. Had a Pei as our jungler. Picked Zhou Yu for fast wave clear and immediately went over to the enemy crimson golem to help him invade and zone the enemy jungler out with my early game dmg. Pei got the crimson golem buff and it all went downhill from there for the enemy team especially since we also had a Yaria who constantly stayed with the Pei. That Pei went 13/2/5 because at that point no one could really stop him from invading the jungle and he got some very good pick offs on the enemy mage and marksman. Pei definitely thrives more on teamwork for him to function compared to other junglers but he's definitely a fun hero to use......just not when you have a bad team or the enemy more or less counters Pei that is.....
I used to main him back when i started playing jungler, but i dropped him around 3 months ago because of how stressful and "intense" it is to use him. This might seems exaggerated, but i always felt like a "sweaty tryhard" whenever i used him, which left me feeling exhausted after a game, left alone if i played multiple times in a row
same i used to main him too, the character also looks so cool but unfortunately I play with randoms in ranked and most of the time it's hard... that's why i started playing kaizer for being more tanky and wokong for having high damage in jungle...I watch your videos and i play butterfly sometimes but I'm still novice with it lol
On an unrelated note, i'm curious on your thoughts about CL Lam or better yet, made a video about it soon. The timing is also perfect with how popular he is now in global, so "stealing" him from enemies by picking him first and putting him in CL could be a good thing to do (kinda like Augran during his release). Personally, i've only tried CL Lam twice since yesterday after seeing a comment on one of your video about it + your tier lists. I tried both dmg and tanky builds and i have to say the results were surprisingly great on both. The main selling points are his LV 1 power spike, his initiation, and his snowball potential. Now to be fair, on both games i faced Fuzi and Yang Jian respectively, which you couldn't call as "top tier CL". But i still think it's a legit strat and i'd definitely tried it a lot more. Hopefully if you cover it in a video, it could put some spotlight to it and as i said in the beginning, could be a decent way to prevent enemies from picking him during draft
the problem with pei at least for me is i cant find a single thing that he does that someone else isnt just superior at. he has no cc no dmg no late game pressure. im at 250 star global rn and i can nevrr understand when people put him s tier jungler. u want farm speed and early game pressure? lam and yuhuan. u want farm and split pressure?? hanxin. u want split and engage potential? just pick menki or musashi. what does pei do that make him the best option over anyone else. so he can switch 2 forms level 1 before anyone else, and for what, peashooter dmg with zero cc? hanxin and lam have way more mobility and damage too.
Well, you've said it already, Pei can do ALL OF THAT while others can only do 1 thing at a time. In other words, he's a jack-of-all-trades hero. As for his unique trait that no other heroes have, you've said it too. He has 2 forms right from LV 1, meaning he has 2 skills available while others only have 1. It gets even better at LV 2 since he'll have ALL 4 SKILLS while others still left at only 2 with no ult. Some junglers like Butterfly, Kongming, and Musashi are straight up unplayable if they bumped into invading Pei below 1-min mark and if they're killed, it'll snowball from there
Idk why but often when i play a few games, they always match me up with either dumb enemies or dumb team. Like in one match the game is very easy bcs the opponents are dumb af, but in the next game it is the polar opposite, making me think i was matched against/with bots and making the game unenjoyable. This happens mainly in normal game mode tho, in ranks usually still feels like playing with real people. Anyone encounters the same problem as me?
It's the opposite for me, which is why i only played Normal these last couple weeks after hitting GM rank. In Ranked, sometimes i get matched with players doing stupid stuffs like Loong diving 3 heroes or Arthur losing lane against Yang Jian, but then in other times, all i get were these godlike Adept Arli, Mai, Shangguan and Li Bai that slaughtered their opponents for 3-5 games in a row. The gap is just ridiculous and they happened way too often. Menwhile, in Normal Mode, the team feel more evenly-skilled (not completely trash with bot-like movement or complete godlike skills) and the best thing is i could practice new heroes as much as i want to add to my mains for next season's Ranked
I wouldn't include Cirrus due to his really late power spike, so unless your enemies are bad, you won't be able to rack up kills and carry the game by yourself. Personally for me, good junglers for soloq are those that could jump in, deal dmg, and survive without needing too much helps. The best ones to start with are Lam, Prince of Lanling, Yuhuan, and Dun. If you're looking for harder, but more potent junglers, there are Li Bai, Yao, and Wukong
In global the higher you climb the dumber your teammates become bruh.
I swear I had some of the best teammates in platinum now I'm in diamond and there's zero coordination brain dead feeders
Lmfao completely agreed
Real, 1 win 4 loses bcs of the stu............... team mates
100% true
Fax that's why I prefer to be a roamer
The braindead part is so accurate in all mobas💀

True
"depends on how smart teammate you have" meaning i can never use him? got it
I agree. Had a Pei as our jungler. Picked Zhou Yu for fast wave clear and immediately went over to the enemy crimson golem to help him invade and zone the enemy jungler out with my early game dmg. Yeah, i still remember 3-shotting opposing MM and mage in teamfight when i managed to snowball out of control with Pei

Because he is really hard to use nowadays due to lack of coordination

Lam is usually a versatile hero that can work on different roles
It's just that his spamming mechanic is what makes him deal so much damage

@@pmvpeepmo well like I said in video he is more scary when you played him on a very coordinated team setup
Rather than your typical spammer assassin

So
For the Solo
Dun, Musashi,Cyrrus and Mi Yue?
Zilong i think still good
I think Mi Yue like Pei coz depends on team

Can you make a video about Garo after the nerfs?
@@MRrockychong I already have video of her
And they nerfed him for no reason
