Although there is no flaw in his steps, I don't feel the connection and passion while, Wang yibo brilliantly executed the dance by feeling it and letting the music take over his body. There's a clear difference between a good dancer and a natural born dancer.
That's because it IS a memorized dance. There are videos of him rehearsing it and imo he did much better during rehearsal than here. It is a choreo that he learned while training at SM, because NCT Jisung has also been seen doing a variation of it. That said, he is 2 years younger but still a very strong urban dancer, however, WYB is both a stronger urban dancer and also a more versatile freestyler. It's pretty obvious that WYB IS freestyling here, but his musicality and range of motion is really impressive.

It’s incredible of how I see his old videos in uniq compared to now. I remember him as a trainee and he used to look up to other great dancers, now there are soo many trainees that look up to him. Both are really good dancers. However, when Yibo danced, you could see how much the other guy wanted to dance and follow his steps, and I think that shows when someone is really good -- they inspire someone else to want to join them. I also feel that Yibo is one of those people who was born to dance because he moves so effortlessly with his music when he freestyles as though he knows what the next beat of a song is even if he's never heard it before. I will never not be amazed by Yibo's dancing, and I hope that someday I get to see him perform in person.

Every time I come back to watch yibo. He looked like he was being himself while dancing. He was going with the flow. He wasn't firing the beat he was on it ,he was the beat. He turned the music to his own and became the music. I love him💜💜💜
I really wish there was a behind the scenes or a fancam that showed WYB's face when the other dude was dancing. I wanna see what he took note of and what he was thinking. But I did notice that the other dude's dance looked choreographed and well executed but WYB just flowed with the music and let it take him over. It was awesome to watch and feel. He loves to dance and it really shows. He's also worked extremely hard and that shows too. So proud of him. I also noticed he matched each technique and isolation the other dude had and gave it some spice and then leveled up the move. He knew exactly what the other dude did and how to showcase the same thing in a completely different way and in his style. He's smart. And cheeky. It was cute.
