Only fumble would be low amounts of characters in DLC packs, I’d hate to pay $20 for only 5 more roster characters like Fighterz. Give me like 30 high quality characters for that price and I’m game

I know it's annoying and stressful for you to give us those videos but they are so good and satisfying. I hope sparking zero has significantly less cheese than XV2 since it's more of a fighting game instead of an RPG but we will see. At least with the cheesy gameplay it made good content for you guys to expose and counter those type of players 👍

yeah I was wondering this myself, why is everyone so fixed on the roster, Tenkaichi games were so good because of the combat and mechanics and how crisp and fluid the gameplay was and that there was an actual skill ceeling, like z counters, perfect charged attacks (where you do a quick teleport when released at the perfect time) or manuel flying that was so hard to do but keeping a huge combo going.
If anyone is interested in seeing what a skilled player is really capable of in tenkaichi 3 go watch some gameplays of MrPiccoloFan
@@JustIzzan Tenkaichi 3 becomes a serious game the moment you learn the flying up/down to get out of the close range stance mechanic, it genuinely feels like a whole new experience.
@@JustIzzan bro the other day I was playing tenkaichi 3 with my brother and we were both on a red bar of health and charged up. He used instant transmission to get behind me and grab me but before he did, I used instant transmission to get behind him and used my ultimate. It was perfection. You don’t get gameplay like that anywhere else man. No anime game will ever compete.

1 thing i haven't seen any1 mention.
At 1:30, when goku does a charged attack that sends vegeta flying left, it looks like he lands a critical charge, like what happens in bt3 when you release the charge button at exactly the right moment, the character will vanish before hitting his attack, and it will break through guard and do more damage. In this case, goku doesn't vanish but you see sparks fly out of him, which you don't see when great ape vegeta does a charged punch forward, indicating goku did land a critical strike
Yeah.. it looked and probably felt better with the teleportation but I guess they saw fit to change that

Anyone else notice how huge Great Ape Vegeta is? Pause. I can’t even see Goku as he gets pounded on. Pause. They definitely up the scale of him a good bit. Compared to most Gaints characters in BT you could tell they had to down scale the gaints due to limitations to make them playable. Although looks like now they’re going be closer to how big the anime/manga made them to be.
You could also compare it to how big the models for Great Ape Vegeta looked in games such as Ultimate Tenkaichi, DBZK, and Ball Breakers. Because in those games he was massive so they are definitely leaning towards that. Although I think DBZK is the most accurate/biggest one. Don’t @ me. That makes excited to see how Hiridegarn looks cause in the movie that boy was huge, Massive. Thick. Pause.
Ngl, for giants... I hope they give them alternate attacks depending on whether they're fighting regular size or other giants. Same for certain regular sized characters against giants.. It would make sense for Giant Piccolo vs Cell Max and Beast Gohan vs Cell Max.

I think the most realistic outcome is that the game awards trailer featured an older build and what we’re seeing now is from a more modern, close to release version.

These animations are so clean
I think that this game is going to be a slight turning point in terms of roster. Not necessarily in size, but rather in character quality, as they got much more content to take characters from or new transformations for older characters. And this is combined with the increased expectations of perfect animations, beautiful models, well made movesets and unique attributes that aren't copied from each other like the older games. With all that in mind, I doubt we will get quite as many filler characters, as they just aren't as necessary nowadays... Though I do hope for a couple.

Unsure if you noticed it since im still a bit early in the video, but it's looking like Majin Vegeta might actually be a transformation this time. Its not 100% clear since it could just be an intro animation, but still.
The game will be peak but I still think they should have announced it in december than teasing it almost one year ago bcs we'Il still have to wait minimum 6-7 months for this to be very optimistic

I wouldn't be worried about a frame where the models mess up. This just reminds me of how people would pause on in-between frames of anime to say it has bad animation. It's an in-between frame for a reason, you wouldn't see it without pausing and slowing the frames down.
The only analysis I need is wether or not the split screen being or being not in there. And since they legitimized is the second case, you can count the sh..t out of me

Hot take: I don't think we're getting OG DB characters. If the panel at the end is indicative of the final roster size it's only three more characters than what Tenkaichi 3 had. I think they might forgo adding stuff from OG DB and focus on Super. Especially given that characters like Bergamot are making the cut.
Even more likely that og DB is cut considering daima is gonna be in probably.
Probably going to be DLC instead. If it ain't like $20 or something I'm down for it otherwise we'll see based on the quality.
Do you think during the ki blast/ultimate clash they'll give you a small button press window like in bt3 amd raging blast where you can boost the damage or quick time depending on the character but this time they'll let you transform to amp the power according to how much ki you have?

I doubt they'll let you transform. It might be a cool visual detail they could do? But after the move they would instantly go back to the form they were in

Maybe they can add a style that reminds me of dragon ball z saga, where you have to be stronger than the opponent to cause damage, where if you are the weaker fighter its a matter of how you use your attacks and surviving long enough to charge for an ultimate attack to cause damage.
Make the game challenging and similar to the show!
Like for example - goku vs frieza
Goku in base from can do damage to frieza up untill frieza is at 50 %
But sometimes you can do damage to frieza at 50% when you get to a bar meter on screen that says you can push little more to cause damage, just like in the show. Goku blasted a Kamehameha and it burned frieza hand.
Or throwing the spirit bomb at frieza, or when goku would get really angry in moments thinking of family he would have a chance to hurt frieza. But if you’re frieza you can cause damage to goku anytime in 50% mode or higher.
Up until goku is super saiyan then its equal damage given and received.
If the game had this type of detail then it’s over.

I understand why people are bummed out that we didn't get a release date for dragon ball sparking zero myself included. But at the end of the day I personally would much rather prefer the devs take their time on it and fix all the bugs and stuff in this game before the game even releases.

Tbh, it sorta is looking like the best of both worlds. I just hope they carry over move customization from RB and the extra moves it added. Maybe make the button prompt Melee attacks cinematic instead though. Those got really annoying with infinite combos on certain characters.

Tenkaichi 3 had 161 characters, Sparking Zero is rumored to have 164 on release with potentially more as DLC.
So it seems like they might cut some of the older characters, cause I doubt the two new super saiyan forms are the only new additions, I wonder if they'll cut all of the original Dragon Ball characters, maybe add them as a big DLC pack later?

Bandai namco has become a thief. Bandai namco is going to sell you all the characters in dlc. At the outset the game will not have the complete roster and much less will it be at launch like the original Tenkaichi 3 was with all the characters included.
Little Goku, Tau Pai Pai, Piccolo Daimaku's father, Arale etc. I am sure they will be in DLC, they will not be included in the game as happened with Tenkachi 3

Big bang definitely slower but all I wanted was a mix between raging blast but I wonder do only certain characters hurt the apes and goku 3 had the strongest Kamehameha when charged and powered up can just teleport looked like the balls are gone plus the main thing was the item equipment this is where this game took the cake if they ruined that this game automatically dropped 1000% the items made every character fight true dbz no running out of energy base goku couldn't take damage so I'll see and according to Walmart jan.3.2025
Personally i think the models could be alot better... PedroTX's modded models for xv2 look alot better and very reminiscent to that of dragon ball tenkaichi 3's models kinda 'physique' i.e. kinda how raging blast looked like
Budokai Tenkaichi 3 has the best moveset by far. I’d be more than happy even if it’s 100% the same. I hope no character is locked behind paywall if if they need it to be a true sequel to BT3.
