    I had no idea what the Tunnel Club was so I found that really interesting, thanks. As for whether it's a good or bad thing, I just accept that it's what the club feel they should be doing, and if it helps to fund players and a manager like we have at the moment, that's just fine by me

    now ive watched the vlog and read all the comments, stop this argument, I was born and grew up in Manchester and was a junior blue from 1974 but have travelled with work and now watch them on Tele most of the time from Texas with an occasional trip to the match when I'm back in Manchester, So I get both sides of this argument. What I will say is I feel privileged to be a born and bred blue but I'm so grateful for how the club encourage and nurture the international following they now have, So local blues embrace our new international support and enjoy us becoming one of the great world club sides in the future,,, with that local family touch, keep the faith

    The family club is going, pushed aside? Are you kidding me!! They built a tunnel so fans can get closer to the stars. Some of the best football we have seen one of the cheapest tickets in the prem constantly asking what we won't and spending billion on a team that was yoyoing. Be happy for what you have been given!!

    • @jordanrainey3602
      @jordanrainey3602 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      no they didnt they built a tunnel club to make more money and rinse the fans. we have a small number of cheap season tickets in south stand level 3, most of the ground has gone up in price over the years. lots of city fans are not attending now and being priced out. if you dont believe me look at the average age of the crowd, there are barely any 18-30 year olds, its all older fans. also lots of city fans that did attend are now in the pub.

    • @macca9320
      @macca9320 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jordan Rainey it's more expensive to watch a championship side these days than a city game. I've been going to city for the best part of 30 years and we have not seen anything like the football we are seeing, that comes at a price. Stop moaning and sit in the pub

    • @jordanrainey3602
      @jordanrainey3602 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      thats rubbish. most games its 40- 50 quid. theres a small number of cheap season tickets in south stand level 3. stop moaning and sit in the pub haha. so you can't criticize ticket prices or corporate areas like this ? lots of city fans are being priced out. I've been going to city for years, plenty of local fan i know have stopped going.
      'that comes at a price' the club dont have to charge expensive ticket prices at all. they make more money on pretty much everything else. unlike you, most fans dont just accept it and bend over backwards. you carry on loving corporate sections, with all the empty seats and people who arent city fans. in a few years time when all the local city fans have been priced out I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

    • @macca9320

      Jordan Rainey I love my club id pay what ever it takes. You know something I am not going to even try and reply. We have changed get over it. You want the best players pay the money. Wow so many moaning twats. I was their 99 and grateful for what we have

    Stop that family club shit... City is now loved by people all over the world. Thats what happen if you have Pep and international stars playing beautiful football and being successful. You gonna attract fans from all over the world. Having variety options like tunnel club is not a bad idea.

    • @wolverinescratch
      @wolverinescratch 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Danny Duan I've said this in the past if you want to be the best you need to open up the club to foreign owners who always have a World wide ambition

    • @dannyduan9436
      @dannyduan9436 6 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Wolverine Scratch Don't know about foreign owners or not. But have to accept that City as the best team this season and probably stays in best in the next couple years, is going to attract biggest fans. Its not family club or local club anymore, and never will be. And for locals, its a privilege that born to be blues and can easily go watch their fav team play everyweek in the stadium. And for ticket price, we still have one of the lowest price among English big clubs, don't we? And it is those expensive tunnel club tickets keep the rest cheap, isn't it?

    • @wolverinescratch
      @wolverinescratch 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Danny Duan true they can't charge too much for tunnel club or no one will come, I was born and raised behind Maine Road and it's almost a dream seeing where the team is now so people really should celebrate Where the club is now

    • @jordanrainey3602
      @jordanrainey3602 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      stop that family club shit ? what a bizarre opinion, can you not be successful and care about your fans. of course its still a local club and a family club. the vast majority of fans attending the etihad are locals or from the near the area. they also do loads for families and the community. the day we lose that is the day we stop beign manchester city. mancunians and the loyal fans are the core of our fan base and what manchester city is. we have always been a local/family club are we arent about to lose that. if they keep tickets affordable we wont lose that.
      if you want the ground more corporate and less locals attending great for you. but i dont and I'm gonna bet most fans dont want that. you can be successful and still be affordable and for the community. also loyalty shouldnt be based on how much money you have and you dont have to celebrate everything the club do.

    • @wolverinescratch
      @wolverinescratch 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jordan Rainey so are against foreign ownership you know the amount of money they are spending there want the club to be recognized around the world at local level there just won't be that sort of support?

  • @ripcityskin

    This blog forced me to sit and think quietly. I’ve been a tourist with exclusive access to the players, but I’ve never been away to Blackpool or Wrexham. The tunnel was a trip bro’. It’s all very thought-provoking like. Where do I fit in the spectrum? Probably more like the gal from California then the gals from the beginning of the video...

    Personally Ian myself and my father were both affected and moved by this club. I can almost feel the players and ex pros cringe from here. Money talks and those who buy into it do it for their own gain. I enjoyed that lad justifying getting away tickets before others 🙈😂

    As much as it does look nice (this Tunnel Club) for me this is not football. It's a day at the horses, or a trip to the theatre etc etc... Everyone prim and proper, looks like they've been summoned to court 😁 not for me, give me the old Kippax stood in piss and swaying from side to side.
    And I ain't 60yrs old, I'm still 30yrs old - I was just brought up on the terraced in the 80's/90's... Can't put a price tag on Atmosphere

    Remember the days when executive boxes were first being introduced at grounds up and down the country. As I see it this is simply an extension of that concept, giving supporters another option/way to spend money with the club. I guess everything a club does or doesn't do is likely to divide opinion so they are in a no win situation.

    • @kinghassy334
      @kinghassy334 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Time wasting when the ball is in play is fine because Westham can do something about it. It's time wasting when the ball is out of play that's frustrating

    • @bluenose6795
      @bluenose6795 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      hahahaha now you mention it, were did the 4mins first half added time even come from? Soon as city went 0-1 down, they get 4 mins added time. There's never 4 mins in a first half. 1-2 mins is the norm.
