A nice tie, thanks. I use an empty pen casing to tie the half hitches in front if the hair

Very nice work on the fly and the video! I've been tying for about two months. This is out of my league for sure, haha. I'll work towards it!

Beautiful bug an an outstsnding job and instruction as well. I too, love tying hair bugs. Been tying them for 50yrs but for gill i prefer craft foam spiders and seldom tie on less than a size 6 hook. I do appreciate your skill such a diminutive bug. Thanks for the video

I always loved this fly for panfish. You forgot to put in the usual disclaimer: “Warning! Tying with deer hair is extremely addictive. Watch with caution.”

Dead fly style packing tool. I have been tying for a good number of years now, but this is the first time I have heard of such a tool. Is it available through fly fish food? That is a really nice fly, thanks for sharing. All the best, Sean

Great pattern but I couldn’t see myself putting in all the work with deer hair do catch a bluegill. Bluegill will eat almost anything so it seems like a waste of time. Great tutorial tho!

Streamer Swinger if fishing were only about getting fish to eat, we’d all still be throwing night crawlers. Deer hair is a great challenge and fun to play with regardless of the species you are chasing.

Deer hair takes so long. While fly done at 5:33. Rest of the video is spinning hair. Man, not a critique just an observation for how much I each technique takes for the total fly.

Your observations are on point. The easier way to catch bluegill is to use a night crawler.

@@FlyFishFood I misspelled a lot of words so thanks for getting my point.
