@Wesleyastonphotography Isn't Utah a great place to live. I am 54 and miss the old uncrowded Utah that nobody knew about. Sevier County is gorgeous. Keep fishing.✌️
Yeah I have been here most of my life, but I complain about the growth here everyday! I am in Utah Valley and the amount of open land they keep filling with concrete and people driving me crazy.
It's gone crazy for sure. I used to go through Vineyard back when it was mostly SOD farms to get to the lake, and now all I do is curse the place driving through it. Used to be nice for big open skies and photos. Not anymore.
Yeah the more I have looked at it after the fact it seems to look more like a Lake vs Splake. Interesting how many others that were watching all thought it was a Splake too. Next time I need to be the one to catch it!
@@Wesleyastonphotography We had a blast, mostly 13"-15" Rainbows. But I got a 20" Splake that weighed 2lbs 9oz. Not bad for my first Splake.! Take care!
She fought with perfect tension for such a big fish. Very good job.
She did a great job indeed. That will be a hard one to top!
Forget the fish. Your wife is the real catch. What a champ. Well done.
Yeah she is, that is why I married her 😀

@Wesleyastonphotography I have lived all over Utah. I live in American Fork now. Jeeze, what happened?

That’s a nice lake trout actually 👍
Yeah if this was a splake it would have been a state record or close

Goin with my kids this weekend... something like that would pull them right in. 😆
Good luck! I kept picturing my wife letting the pole slip and it taking it in. She did awesome!
