No need to get over it. I think you're absolutely right. Joker's actions are a result of 2 things: 1. His insanity and warped thinking patterns 2. His resistance to his own feelings Joker is not only insane, he's a criminal. He believes that anarchy is the best way to cleanse the world. And he's probably right. But in knowing that, he knows how to get to people's buttons. Which include loved ones. Knowing that, he ALSO knows that if he ever fell into that himself, he would be susceptible to his own exploitation. He has always loved Harley, there are certain things that prove it undeniably. But he has to keep HIMSELF on a short leash, because if he doesn't, he will stop being himself. So he feels like being that way is the only thing that will allow him to keep himself at bay while keeping her at the same time. And he's also a genius, because it works LOL

My heart like actually hurts. I have been searching for this song since Thy Kingdom came and went and i finally found it and the orchestra sounds so wonderful. Amazing crescendos, amazing accents, just amazing everything. I think that this version was VERY appropriate for the acid bath scene tbh. It sounds so hauntingly beautiful. Malevolent, menacing, and ominous yet so compelling. In short, perfect.
