Man, your content is freaking awesome. Love it. My go-to gear? Vittoria Mezcals are my tires and since I'm in my mid-50s, I don't skimp on my sleep comfort. I don't leave home without my 3" Nemo Quazar sleep pad and Fillo pillow. BTW, I'm still riding my Forest Service Green 2018 Salsa Fargo. Love that bike and it's carried me all over Mexico and down the Baja Divide. Thanks for the great content.

Good stuff! 100% agree on POC helmets. I love my Ventral Air Spin! It's so light, comfy and stable I forget I have it on. My MTB style tends toward "dirt roadie" more than "bro" so I get good-natured crap from my friends in baggies with their big visors. Until I hand them my lid that weighs 250g less than theirs :)

Great video as usual ! I probably geek on my gear too much, I should ride more. I've been a huge fan of massage gun since I got back into biking couple or years ago, life changer. I even have a mini one I carry with me during my traveling for work

Just subbed. I agree with Conti tires and even though I haven't used them in years but remember that they worked great! Love you list, planning on a multi-day ride but I will probably stay in motels with minimal camping if possible. Just making the plans now. I wax with Silca Super Secret $40 wax but never tried the chain stripper.

I just picked up a Garmin 1030 plus bundle @ 40% off directly from Garmin, I've never had or used a GPS unit while biking so it should be an interesting learning curve. LOve your videos, keep them coming!

Yep! lighter helmets for me…I’ve a few …giro…troy lee…but mostly i’m using kask mojito …those peaked enduro style lids can weigh 😅

+1 for POC helmets. Crashed badly on my 4th ride with a new helmet. Broke my collar bone and helmet crushed where it came into contact with protruding rocks. Not even a headache. Gave me 35% off a new helmet with their crash policy.

About the Conti's: I've ridden on those, but then i've discovered the Donnelly Strada, these are a bit more 'gravel' or at least 50/50 road/off-road tires. They have excelent cornering grip and good puncture protection. I used to bring a Conti in my backpack just for the worse case scenario, but nowadays, i use tire inserts.

it's called "EX Light Wind Jacket Men's" - they also make a vest version - I just checked the site, it's under jackets & vests > wind shells -ride on!!
