I bought an Airmoto and I have used it to check and inflate the tires on my car. I have found that and I see no differences in what you have reported here. I had never heard of your channel but I have subscribed. 9:45 thanks for the chance.
I bought one a week ago has everything I need. Didn't think I use it until I got cold in the air pressure in my tires. After I got off work I used it to get my are tires filled back up very easy very convenient was worth every Penny
I just purchased one of these. I purchased this to keep with my motorcycle... as it is so dangerous to ride with tires that are not inflated correctly. So, again, thank you Ol' Man!
the logo maxx eyewear appeared at 9:46 , And I bought the same pump a couple of weeks ago, I used it for my bicycle it worked great, on my scooter too. Did not tried on the car yet, but I thing that as you experiendced it will do but will take a lot of time.
it does. I'm using it constantly on all our vehicles. The larger the displacement the longer it takes, however as an emergency pump fur a car its working fine, for motorcycles its awesome so far.
A flat tyre is a tyre that has almost zero air pressure in it, rather than an under-inflated tyre! How long does it take the pump to inflate a motorcycle tyre from almost zero PSI to 30 PSI, and is the pump capable of fully inflating the tyre without flattening the battery, or overheating the pump? That would be the full test.
Nice video. I used to have a $10 Walmart cheapy compressor that was powered by my battery tender connection. It had a analog guage on it that worked so-so. This one looks much more convenient. 9:45 Thanks for the chance!
I like this airmoto for my Kia 4 door to add small amount of air. Had trouble reading the instructions...on a very very very small printed instruction booklet in 5 languages. YIKES.
Same pump at Walmart is like $23. It's red in color and has the same carry bag and in the unit has the pieces for a soccer ball, etc... Fits nicely in my side case. You forget to say that the best thing about it is it's rechargable. No need for battery cables or 12VDC outlet. As to it's durability... If it works only once it's paid for itself in headache and stress relief -as long as you didn't forget to pack your tire repair kit!
the Hyper Tough (red) available at WalMart is not even close to the AirMoto sorry to say. I bought one and used it for quite a while. It's chinsey, loud and it failed 3 times. I returned it 3 times (not kidding) and finally took it back and they gave me a FULL REFUND. Much to WalMart's credit. If youre looking for a one time air pump then yep, that the one. I am not. HOWEVER, with that said, I'll still testing and using the AirMoto and SO FAR, its been awesome. Thanks so much for the comment and for watching & hopefully subscribing.
There are many air pumps. I recommend one that runs off of the bikes battery along with a plug kit. Unfortunately, the Himi will require a bit more to correct a flat than a plug kit. Tube tires can be a dirty and time consuming problem when they flat on the road.
I just run slime in my tubes, only had one puncture in about 15 years and no matter what, that one was going flat, . 3" cut in the tyre from some glass in that case. I carry a decent mountain bike hand pump, takes me about 5 mins to inflate the front tyre on the himmi as a trial run. Yes it involves physical activity but it only runs me flat, not the bike battery. Probably never need it but I have that and spare tubes on board just in case. About 15 mins to change a tube, plus inflation time. Carry some baby wet wipes for cleaning hands afterwards
80-130 dollars is OK if it lasts FOREVER, however these small pumps often burn up if inflation takes more than three minutes several times. So cars and atv tires will likely kill it. It is compact and good for road emergency on a bike. I just keep a Slime $12 inflator with motorcycle plug in my tail box. I barely ever use it, but it is faster than this. I went back to using a stand up Gomer/Goober era hand pump in the garage that cost 10 and will never burn up. I can add 10lbs to a small tire in about five pumps (20 seconds) and to the rear tire in twice that time. I can top up a large car tire in about a minute. No cords, no charging, no batteries, just hang it on the nail on my wall.
As far as hand pumps go, my Topeak Joe Blow is 22 years old and still pumps like new. I use it at least once per week, usually three times a week. Cheers
Appears if you forget the 2-3 hours of charge time and had left it in your saddlebag for a month there is no 12V connection to use it, what is is a tire pump with a dead battery? A lot of hype but does not seem worth it to me.
WEll had not watched this one, been so buys with other things not kept up with all the channels I follow. I like the size of that and wonder how it do to pump up an air mattress for camping. I may get one though just for back up in the bike though anyways.
There are several attachments included to blow up anything from tires on motorcycles, bicycles, cars, balls and yes inflatables. I just topped off all 4 wheels of Iron Lady's Jeep this morning, which were low, and had nearly 100% battery left. This is a dynamite product and has a permanent place in my kit. Cheers Whsky
Bought one and when it arrived it didn't work, and the hose would not re-seat properly. Sent it back and waited, and waited, and waited for replacement. Long wait. This is great for bike tires and football/basketballs. It takes a really long time to inflate a 35-40 psi auto tire. There is zero chance you can inflate four tires on one charge. The hose gets very hot. I waited for it to cool before trying to inflate a second tire. Had another manufacturers hose pop after extended use so I was very cautious. One suggestion, the screen is very difficult to read in sunlight an brighter screen would be helpful.
I have the Ryobi air pump with their one battery line. It works on everything but again you can't take it with you on your bike trip. Thanks for lowering the music volume...lol
great video- is there a way that it will remember the PSI you want each time or do You have to adjust it every time? So if I want my tires to always be 75psi, can I set that once so I do not have to do every time? thanks.
On a road trip, if I wake up and there's a flat tire on my motorcycle, I will reach for this product only to find that the battery is dead, or weak. Am I correct in thinking that it's not practical because you always have to make sure it's fully charged?
Having tried (for over a decade) to find a decent foot pump in the UK I think I will be buying one of these assuming they have an outlet. Why does no one produce quality footpumps any more? 😕😠
Good review of the Airmoto Portable Air Pump, more of this please. Don't take part in the sunglasses contest, I ware glasses so don't need them. But it's good.
Mine worked great until it didn’t. When I attach the hose to the tire the air pressure reads 0.0 and will not show the current air pressure. Any suggestions.
@@OlManRonin Emailed airmotto. I was pleased they were very responsive and willing to replace it even though it was out of warranty. I just shipped back on August 5 and awaiting replacement. So far very pleased with Airmoto customer service.
Biggest question is company claims it will fill a FLAT car tire so how long would it take to fill a totally FLAT car tire and will battery last enough?
Thanks for the video! I just got an adventure bike and am working on putting together a tool kit. I'm curious to know: can it also run while being charged, or does it have to be all charged up?
Nice and short informative video . I think I might try it out soon. Perfect size for my daily rides as well as your Moto camping trips. The giveaway was at 9:45
Thanks for this review. There are many brands of smart tire inflators and I'm trying to decide which one to buy. BTW, is that Django Reinhardt and the Hot Five in the background?
Awesomeness Ray and I do too. on the Himalayan for lowering and raising tire pressure in the further and on my mower because I have a slow leak lol douh
id say its ok if you need it for a road trip somewhere and get a flat tire out in nowhere, but my guess is if you use this thing more than a few times the battery capacity will drop a bit and that the compressor will wear out, rendering it useless for things like car tires because the battery will die before airing a tire. so more of an emergency and random use tool. what gets me is portable inflators aren't new, you can get some rather small ones that plug right into your power outlet in the car for half the price and be more reliable, ive kept portable inflators in my cars for several decades now and you can find them most anywhere that has auto parts.
@@OlManRonin This is so great to hear! I am typically someone who researches, then purchases; however, I saw these pumps advertised and on somewhat of a whim purchased the Airmoto as a Christmas gift for all of the men on my list. its a good little emergency pump, but for me, it enables me to do quick TCLOCS as well as adjust air pressure for road surfaces especially on the Himalayan.

I've been pushing my luck never having had a flat.. no tire irons, no bear spray, no nuthin. I'm a wheel spinning one armed bandit pulling chance taking junkie that has so far been lucky. It'll probably take me a 2 day hike off the mountain to smarten me up. 😆

There is a air release button on the upper left side so you don't have to be messing at the valve stem to release air 👍
