    Worked for me. I had a previous engineer using a bastion host to connect to new instances. Problem is he took his SSH keys with him so making endpoints was a good workaround.

    hello,so i have created a private ec2 instance for ssm, but now i needed internet to install some packages, i tried using nat getway but still i was not able to do so, can you make one video on it or if you can guide me.

      A solution is create 2 endpoint with ssm and ssmessages and wait around 4-5 minutes. Idk why take so long but it works for me. In addition, add por http and https to the security group
