Thank you Kurt for blessing us with your gritty beautiful voice. Rest in peace man, though we were only given a short time with you I would take that over never knowing you at all.
Never forget Curt..he left a great music to us evn we know, for some reasons,he left so early...People will always listen to Curt and admire his really alternative music, and image what he could do if he "shoud'nt' die as still were a kid of 28years old,,,Thank you Curt... .
Legends don't just grow on trees ya know. They are shaped and moulded by the universe and all that is in it, only being formed on very rare occasions. We will never have another musician like this man right here, just love and cherish what you have before we are gone. Don't try, just do .
Yes & No. I'm now back on the small Island I went to school on.....which you get to by a ferry from Seattle. But I hung out in Seattle & moved there in 1977. I met him several times and know some of his oldest friends. He was funny, happy, & LOVED his life. His songs were social commentary - he was not depressed about life. And even HER FATHER thinks she did it!!! Seattle's a "Small" City. My son's now engaged to Jimmy Hendrix's cousin & I've always known many of Seattle's musicians!!!
As a former opiate addict. I can tell you that you build up a tolerance, and anyone who says that he couldn't operate a shotgun on heroin is fooling their self. The guy sang concerts every night on the stuff.
What is interesting is how you can really hear the countermelody more clearly in this unplugged version, and how it is easier to identify as a variation of the same countermelody from "S.O.S." by ABBA. Kurt was a fan of ABBA, and I have always thought that his use of the countermelody variation was his tribute to them.
lol. I turned 18 in 92. The year Nirvana broke. The one thing it did is make me realize there were far better and more original bands out there than the commercial stations play. If you want to hear decent music you have to out the work in to find it. like Archers of loaf or Velocity Girl. Finding good music wasn't any easier in the 90's.
According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Madonna is the best-selling female rock artist of the 20th century and the second top-selling female artist in the United States, with 64 million certified albums. In 2008, Billboard magazine ranked her at number two, behind only The Beatles, on the Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists, making her the most successful solo artist in the history of the chart. In 2012, she was crowned the "Greatest Woman In Music" by VH1.
I'm having a baby due July 7th and I'm naming him Kurt Allan. The first name for Kurt and the middle name is my dad's. Thank you Nirvana for inspiring me so much.
sometimes inner pain and demons are too great for many who kill themselves, drug addiction and depression are very powerful emotions that love sometimes can't conquer, it doesn't mean he didn't love his daughter, maybe, in his mind, sadly, he thought it would be better for her, it's the nature of drugs and depression, hand in hand they distort and twist your mental abilities to see clearly and rationally, very sad I think...
kurt cbain is beautiful. he is pure of heart and im in love with his voice and everything about him . kurt cobain LIVES always. im a girl by the way, i feel i have to tell that cause i have a boy namr...... rite.
They do say that living with guilt and pain in your body and mind will wreak havoc with your health... Jus look at her deterioration over the years... UGH! Either way, suicide, or homicide, it's a fucking shame and a waste! Kurt is eternally immortalized in his passion...
Yeah he was such an awesome person. Never acted like a STAR..just a regular guy. And the people with the power to investigate didn't want to bother with someone they considered a druggie and political trouble maker. So most authors and media just accept the cliche's and don't really research with those who know the truth!! So Sad. And your English is great!! I am impressed with people who can speak other languages. I can only speak English and "Street Mexican" (with lots of hand gestures LOL)
disagree, the intensity of his voice and its unique quality is what makes him a great singer. he is memorable, unforgettable, the way he sings bores the song into you.
I really like The Foo Fighters, and I'm a huge Nirvana fan :) according to this dating article about music on Facebook, what that says about me is that I'm hurt and angry lol. My other tastes are questionable like Depeche Mode.
They do say that living with guilt and pain in your body and mind will wreak havoc with your health... Jus look at her (C.L's) deterioration over the years... UGH! Either way, suicide, or homicide, it's a fucking shame and a waste! Kurt is eternally immortalized in his passion...
I also mis-quoted madonna's record sales, which has surpassed 300 million sales and counting.. call her what you will.. I say I love her voice and her "balls"
also that flat seven inversion ending (M2) how the fuck did they pull THAT off. I love when the ear is deceived as music theory flies out the window :)
It transcends the generations. One line sold me on this song "I wish I was like you, easily amused"
Absolutely amazing performance during unplugged session. In my opinion it is one of the best music events ever. I still can't belive Kurt is gone.

Thank you Kurt for blessing us with your gritty beautiful voice. Rest in peace man, though we were only given a short time with you I would take that over never knowing you at all.

absolutely UNFORGETTABLE.
he is the man....and he is the description of my life.

So glad to see others know the truth...too bad no one with authority bothered or cared enough to investigate and arrest her!
Montage Of Heck brought me here, somehow. Great movie.

I personally think Mumford & Sons are really talented and original enough to stand the test of time.

This was the only reason MTV Unplugged existed. Everything else was just a bit silly. This, this, this was important.
