Great video. For rounded profiles (like gutter) I like to redraw it with circle tool to reduce polygon number and extra lines in views. Also, you could use this profile with railing tool to make it associative with roof corners - then any future adjustments to roof would change gutter and it's position as well.
Thank You, Robert, Just what I needed. I'm designing a residence in the Philippines using Kalwall's translucent roof for my roof assembly. Since Kalwall provides Objects for Revit but not for Archicad, and Archicad does not provide Kalwall in its roof accessories folder, I'm left with creating a new Kalwall roof material and support assembly from scratch by creating a new material in 'Building Materials' added to 'Roof Default Settings' combined with newly created support assemblies, as you have shown in the 'Profile Manager.'
Hi Gary, I'm glad I could help. I currently have one of emplyees working in the Philippines, and am wanting to build my team to assist with my projects. Are you interested in some freelance work, or do you have any other ArchiCAD drafters available for a 1 month contract?
Hello, when I try this method I get a warning of degenerated polygons. Have you seen such warning? Not sure if I should ignore them or try a different aproach. Would really apreciate it if you could answer. Great videos by the way.
