About Yuji surviving but not Yuta - It was stated that since both Yuji and Sukuna share the same Cursed Technique [Shrine], it has less effect on Yuji. This is backed by Gojo firing off an impromptu version of Hollow Purple that also included himself being hit by it. It had less effect on Gojo since it was his own technique. Also, I think it's a testament to how Yuji's durability is improving as he's now scratching the surface of his true strength as a sorcerer. We gotta keep in mind that Yuji literally become a sorcerer less than a year ago
