From a dancer who has covered as Miyeon in a 6 people group, this side edge distribution is very saddening cause Miyeon is 2nd for edges and more often than not she’s behind another member when it’s not her singing parts. But all of Miyeon’s parts are extremely beautiful, such as the flower like ring they create around her. It’s like Miyeon is introduced like a goddess whenever she sings. Covering as Miyeon, I know I’ll always feel hella beautiful 🥰 It’s pretty fair for Minnie and Shuhua when you consider their vocal parts, where Minnie’s singing parts make up for the amount of edge time and Shuhua’s dance parts make up for her few lines. And Soojin, Soyeon and Yuqi are talented dancers on top of being the vocals/rappers, it makes sense for them to have less edge time. At the end of the day, this choreo and song is impossible without all 6, so I’m very appreciative and in love with this piece.

I never really watch a lot of edge because sometimes its better to be in edge than hidden like from the start its minnie and miyeon has better view than yuqi in the back which we can only see her face.
Overall I dont think that this is a bad distribution
Members with dance positions spent more time in the center while members with vocals spent more time on the edge. It would've been unfair if a member had no lines and was only at the edge but that didn't happen.
Yeah in a perfect world minnie and miyeon would have less time on the edge but they also got the most lines (soyeon also had a lot of lines but she also has a dance position)
The only member a dance position is soojin and soyeon center

Idle is a 6 member group so it makes sense that someone would be at the back at certain parts that needed equal distribution to the left and right side of the dance. i know it's sad that Minnie is at the edge most of the time and Miyeon is at the back half the time but it just makes kinda sense,Miyeon is the weakest dancer in the group that's why she will spend most of the time as a shadow performance wise,Minnie isn't in the dance line either,also she and Minnie already got alot of lines, it would be unfair if they would spend alot of time in the middle,and Soyeon is the center,why would not she spend time in the center. Also why is everyone not acknowledging Shuah is spending the least time at the edge or at the back? You guys never get satisfied, y'all always demand for something. As a new nevie I expected more of this fandom :(
