Definitely one of the best eras in SX, with RC, Stew, Reed, and sometimes Windham poking his wheel in there. There were a few other great years....80's had a time with Bailey, O'Mara, Ward, RJ, and Hannah. And, briefly there was a couple of years with RV, Dungey, Stew, and Reed, although Stew and Reed were struggling with age and changing teams. Not trying to be argumentative, but there were other times with stacked classes.

Notice how the guys getting lapped get out of the way and let the fastest guys by now days the lappers are playing games and holding lines and blocking the lead rider. AMA needs to do something about that shit. I think there are certain guys that know they will never win but are good enough to qualify to be there and screw certain riders who are running top 5 and even the lead rider. they act like it's a accident or people say hey that's part of racing but it's pretty obvious the certain lappers are trying to fuk a couple lead guys. Dean wilson is basically a lineman at this point has screwed up so many races and acts like he can't read the flaggers and their signs. He's going to cause crashes and championship too. Get him squared away AMA or get rid of him he's bad for the sport. We would have a trio of webb, Roczen, and Tomac out ripping and going at each other if lappers would just follow ama rules on being lapped.
