Have chanted this mantra for many years, was in siddha yoga since 1986, it is their core mantra. One of the best books ever written on the subject of kundalini awakening and transformation is by Baba Muktananda called "Play of Consciousness". Many good books have been written on this mantra, chant and meditate it will transform your interface with reality. Om Namah Shivaya!

Thank you for sharing your experience, Vibhuti! I hope it inspires many to start an ONS Mantra practice. The beauty of it all, is that, one could be at any point in their life and this Mantra will meet them at their particular level of spiritual stage, guiding evolution with just the right amount of growth, neither too quick, nor too slow, just fantastically right. Your testimonial is proof that it works just as powerfully with sustained practice, as much as it does when one begins the practice at first.
Growing up in Bombay to spiritual parents, I had the good fortune of meeting many saints. We visited Ganeshpuri fairly regularly and I have wonderful memories of being soaked in complete bliss near Baba's samadhi. You are right in that ONS changes the quantum field around us. It is hard for some to acknowledge because the Mantra itself seems so easy. Thank you for recommending the book, I hope many will take you up on it and not miss the call of their Self waiting to be realized.
Much love, light and joy to you⭐️😊

Works quickly, so I've been living, reciting this mantra daily. Formally in the morning everyday 108 times everyday, constantly saying this out loud or silently. Even gave offerings, not money, because I've got 1.64 cents in my bank account and had to pawn my guitar yesterday to pay my phone bill. One offering was some green leaves which I saw growing on a vine. All of the other tree leaves were dead. So I pulled a small branch with a few leaves on it and put it in a glass of water. Turns out the leaves were poisonous and caused both of my hands to break out. So I pretty much feel like a fool for reciting this mantra. For some reason I still do it. I figure I should give it more than 2 weeks, but even though I still do it, I feel like a fool. I'm 59 years old and have been a Spiritual seeker all of my life. I was sure this was the answer, now, not so much. I don't know what you're definition of quickly is, but it's obviously different than mine. I felt great and great about it the first 2 days, probably because it was new and gave me hope. Now, same old depression and disappointment. Is it worth it, really?

      Hi Eddie,
While it's tough now, hold on and don't lose hope. This too will pass. A Mantra is not a quick fix to our lifelong shortcomings, neither is it a tool to run away from problems that stare us in the face, or a substitute for situations that need physical ''EFFORT'. Rather, it is a CONSCIOUS management of our blind spots, and expectations. It helps us see the ''truth'' and solve discrepancies between our desires and needs, thus inspiring ACTIONS necessary to take achieve our goals. It removes obstacles and barriers to our path. It provides opportunities, resolves narratives and improves clarity needed to reveal oversights, provided *WE* are ''willing to change our perceptions, and make simultaneous changes'' as the veil is being lifted.
Your reason for chanting ONS was not clear to me, but you mentioned money. Feel free to tailor my suggestion to your situation:
      1) Make efforts for your goals regardless of your spiritual or material experiences! Your enthusiasm is the greatest gift. Treasure it. Be less attached to a preferred outcome to the results of your actions. Leave room for play and error. Work hard but surrender your expectations to the divine!
      2) Seva- Service
Assist someone in a more disadvantageous situation that yourself, and give that assistance unconditionally. For Eg: If you need income, help someone else find a job or volunteer for a non-profit. If suffering from emotional needs help those with PTSD etc.
      3) Meditate
You can meditate with Mother Meera daily, and ask for assistance on her webpage by adding a request. She shares her gifts freely to everyone. In addition, maintain a spiritual discipline of meditating before and after the mantra chanting. This is vital.
      4) Chant
Om Gang Ganapatayay Namaha to remove any obstacles or barriers to your goals. You can follow up with any Laxmi mantra of your choice. You can also chant ''Om Hring Namah Shivaya'' instead of ONS for abundance.
      5) Remember that you can 'worship' Shiva only by being Shiva first! You are not different from Shiva as you are already part of the divine. Your consciousness itself is Brahman. Meditate on this, and be free.
You are already that which you seek!
      We are all ultimately Shiva!
      Tat Tvam Asi 🙏
Much love, light, happiness, success and prosperity to you!🌺🌟

Does enlightenment in material things you mentioned mean understanding the mechanism behind the material forces like gaining knowledge of repairing machines, gaining knowledge in physics, mathematics, biology, psychology etc. and does this mantra increase our intelligence, since this mantra contains the whole universe it should surely contain and grants universal knowledge of these things to the individual, if chanted consistantly, do you agree or not?

      Hello,
Thank you for a great question!
It has been my experience, and that of many others, that ONS brings success in a variety of material and spiritual endeavors.
For the study of hard sciences that you mention, there are ample academic resources should you want to pursue a technical degree on a mental level. For higher perspectives, we must go through the mind and beyond it, and that’s what mantras/meditation helps us achieve. Many Rishis, or “poet-seer-scientists’’ of Ancient India were able to harness knowledge in this manner... knowledge that is benefitting humanity even today! Perhaps you may wish to undertake such a journey and share your research experiences with us in the near future.
      Goodluck to you!
      Love and Light🌺⭐️

      Hi Vaisakh,
Happy to hear that you were chanting regularly! Dreams are thoughts, and such dreams have many different reasons. Most of the time, it's the release of impressions stored in our mind. Others could be from quality of sleep or unease in the mind-body complex/ subconscious. One can dream from being exhausted/energized or from sleeping too much/too little or thinking about something repeatedly. Or it could be a spiritual cause.
Context is very important here. Unless, it is affecting you adversely, hindering your progress, or is connected to a major change in life events, it is best to not analyze dreams and just allow them to be without giving it too much importance. However spiritually symbolic a dream may seem, treat it as a mental release and let it be.
Ultimately, the goal of enlightenment is to be empty of all thoughts-- even the good ones😊
You can continue chanting Om Namah Shivaya 108x.
Take the mind back to the source and meditate before sleeping and after waking up. It is very beneficial in clearing impressions, and evolving your consciousness. Goodluck to you!
      Love and Light

If you get bitten by a snake 🐍 in a dream and you worship Shiva, it means you can achieve liberation in this lifetime.

    • @VEDMAYI
      @VEDMAYI  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

While I understand the intention to encourage, anyone can achieve liberation in this lifetime! Why wait for a dream to appear, to get started?!
This Human birth is rare, and rarer is the one who wishes to be free.
Why depend on a dream for such a valuable gift 😊
Make efforts regardless of your experiences!
      We are all ultimately Shiva!
      Worship Shiva by being Shiva!
You are already that which you seek!
