Love your videos and sharing of knowledge to keep the Xterras alive! I have a 2011 and a 2005 (bought new) for parts, and while the dealership is eager to hose me on repairs, your informative videos often help me quickly solve the problems. Thanks!
I've watched many of your videos and I very much appreciate you doing what you do thank you. Had no idea this vehicle has an active self test feature. Thank you very much for showing us this feature. I diagnosed a bad fan motor but this method would have saved me an enormous amount of time. Thank you again!!!!
My pathfinder had the same issue and this video helped me a lot. I was able to bend my fan shroud gently and pulled out the AC fan alone. This save me some time. From start to finish, took me around 50 minute . Thank you for the detail step to step instructions.
So my fan wasn’t working and I changed it. Now the new fan works only when the test is done. The fan don’t actually work as it should with the a/c on. Thanks a lot for the video man. I really appreciate it.
I would absolutely love if you could show how to change or at least diagnose the AC compressor. I've seen other videos who kinda show how, but you always seem to have the best detailed Xterra videos. This one was very helpful also as to eliminate other possible culprits.
You just saved me a trip to the mechanic. After replacing my radiator, I had a very similar problem where the AC would not blow cold air at idle but normal when driving. Turns out I forgot to plug the AC fan back on after I did my radiator swap :p your video led me to the solution lol
Thank you a million. I did the auto test and the electric fan didn’t turn on nor did the AC clutch click. I have checked the fuses and relays related to the AC and all is good. My vehicle happens to be a 2006 Nissan pathfinder but it has a similar engine or perhaps the same engine from just reviewing your video. Must likely I am going to change AC compressor as well as replacing the electric fan myself. I say myself as I took the vehicle to a local auto technician to add R134a . I requested to have the AC line vacuum etc… The owner calls me after they did the work that my AC compressor is not working accordingly and that my AC condenser under the dash is contaminated and will need to be replaced. They gave me an estimate of what it will cost me to repair the AC. $2659.09. Mind you I still got charged for having the AC service. $242.00. I believe as professional technicians and using logic they should have verify if the AC needed refrigerant and check why the AC stop cooling after explaining to them the AC was working perfect and all of a sudden it stop blowing cold air. This is why I work on my own vehicle . Regardless lesson learned. But all is good I learned about the auto check.😊😊😊😊
Yea the 06 Pathy will have the same V6 if its not the V8 model. They charged you $242 just to ass R134a?!? Sorry this is happening. That sucks. Best of luck and let me know how it goes.
If your a/c works fine at driving speed then there is nothing wrong with the a/c-- it shows it can function perfectly with natural air flow. Engine overheating at idle is the engine fan clutch. A sticking thermostat will stick under all conditions, not just at idle at a stop light. If the compressor was bad - they usually are seized when old-- you get no a/c. Condensor would function but without its fan, the a/c will run but not get cold. You do a really good video. I'm a former Class A tech but didn't specialize in a/c but I have learned that these Nissan fans (both kinds) have issues.
Followed your guide for the refrigerant and was met with nice ice cold air. Definitely an awesome fix until I get to the shop in a few weeks for the full repair. 😄
If you lived as bit closer, i would mow your lawn, wash the dishes, clean the gutters - all to thank you for this vid - especially the electrical troubleshooting of the condenser fan connector. Took me all of 15-20 minutes to run the IPDM self-test, then ohm out the connector, and finally check for power during the IPDM self-test. Your advice/instruction was right on - and many, many thanks to you! FWIW - 2005 Frontier w/ 263,000 miles!...and still going strong!
Just performed my self test on my 06 Xterra.... first off that is sweet!!! After doing the test I discovered that my fan kicks on like it should, that sucks cause I am guessing that I may need to get a new A/C compressor! Maybe in the future you can do a video on A/C compressor replacement. Awesome video RY.... they always very informative!
Ok so I also did the self test on my pathfinder and both the compressor and fan kick on but my aux fan doesn't engage otherwise. Any suggestions? P.s. I checked the fuses and connections under the dash, everything seems legit.
I appreciated your explanation and demonstration of recharging the a/c, I’ll look at the video again on the can, but I would like to have watched you point to the refrigerant type sticker and heard you mention which one it uses. Otherwise, great delivery and demonstration, thanks! I need to do this on my ‘02, but I feel sure I can do it after watching this.👏🏻
My A/C blew the high pressure discharge at the compressor. The O ring on the hose, but not the hose itself. Ordered an O ring from Nissan Parts, still waiting on it. How did I find the leak? Well , with H/L gauge set installed and the vacuum pump pulling, it wouldn't pull more than 15psi of vacuum. So, it's a BIG leak. That discharge was the ONLY place with any oil after checking every fitting. I had no idea about the test process though, that's BRILLIANT! I had to push 50psi or air into the A/C system and search for the leak using a squirt bottle filled with soapy water and hunt for bubbles. Not too bad, like any kid looking for a leak in a tube. Please don't hook anything that will push air into the A/C system. Air contains water vapor and that can damage the Compressor and Line Dryer. If you've done that then the system needs to be evacuated with a vacuum pump before it can be recharged.
Thank you again for all the work you do to help us keep our Xterra in good condition. You always do it at the cost of blood, as we can see on your right index finger at 10:38 in your video.
Cool Video, I swear they Hang the engine in the middle of a room and Build a truck around it. Those electric fans are great till they Fail, I had motorcoaches that had 11 of them on the AC condenser and when they would fail they caused all sorts of problems. Just remember with R134A to charge with the can Inverted or as a Liquid if the can says Upside down for Liquid. some of the ones from the auto store might charge Liquid right side up but I have always Used the 30 LB jugs of refrigerant. I am an HVAC guy, r134a is a Blend of different refrigerants and the blends will get off if you charge too much just using gas instead of Liquid. Have definitely enjoyed several of your videos. Thanks
My 2006 Xterra stopped blowing cold air and I jumped the gun (not doing the self test first) and replaced the fan. Welp... the fan still isn't turning. However, after running the self test, the fan did indeed turn on. My question is, does the fan turn on immediately after turning on the airconditioner? Because it is not turning on, but did during the self test. I hope you still follow up on these comments. Otherwise. Excellent... Excellent, well informed and thorough video. Sidenote: Vegas Heat is Killer! lol
A 4.0 Nissan engine can run the AC on without the electric motor running. The ECM controls the cooling fan corresponding to the vehicle speed, engine coolant temperature, refrigerant pressure, and air conditioner ON signal. If the AC refrigerant pressure is less than 230 PSI, and the vehicle engine temperature is less than 208F, the fan will not operate but you will still be getting AC air. The clutch fan even when not engaged to the engine speed draws a significant amount of air through the condenser
Great vid! Just bought a 2015 Pro4X and after 2 days, the a/c is not cold at idle. Only when moving. Now Ill diagnose before taking it back to the dealer under warranty. You should show the multimeter settings when doing your tests...just as a helpful tip ^_^
btw i did this...sure enough it works, goes through the self-check but the fan doesn't kick on. Its only about $50 for a new fan assembly, and if it werent under warranty i would just order one. But I'm going to make the dealer fix it lol.
My AC isn't warm, but not as cold when idling compared to cruising on the freeway. I performed the NISSAN self test you mentioned and confirmed the electric cooling fan is working. Any ideas why the AC isn't cold?
Very well organized and informative but at 12:51 instead of pulling off all the air intake parts wouldn’t it have just been easier to pull out the battery and run some extended leads from there to the aux fan? Obv that’s just for the direct test and clearly the way Ry did works but I figure it’s simpler to unscrew 2 terminals and run alligators or jumpers to the terminal bolts. I’ve had to do it for random unrelated things before. Ironically pulling the battery isn’t the 1st thing ppl consider although it takes up a lotta engine real estate. Even better thanks for the auto self test tip- in 6 years, many tear downs and more research than I care to admit, I never knew that’s a thing on these “older” models (still a tad younger than mine tho lol) thanks again dude!
Hi Ry, I have an 08 Frontier. I have the same issue and when I look at the fan it never runs but when I did the test it ran. What would cause the fan not to switch on? Thanks, great vids
My x ac shut down after I went to AZ, i first got a low temp code p0128, then headed back to CA and driving through the desert I turned on my ac and blew hot air, im going to try this thank you! Just did the test, fan works, i just remembered when my ac was on, the engine shakes a little, it's not doing that anymore, could it be the compressor?
If there's anyone who's a deterrent from buying an Xterra it's got to be you. you are constantly working on this thing for pretty much every issue you could think of plus a bunch you wouldn't even think of.
LoL. Keep in mind I will do jobs that don’t need to be done. I do them just so I can make content on them. Not in the case of this video but other ones hahah.
The same fan in my 07 Pathfinder is not working and I don’t have any AC and I have 150 psi in the AC line so I’m guessing I need to replace the same fan 🤷🤷 and you always make incredible videos, thank you 👊
Cool trick with the self test. But my xterra fan is operating, Freon is full also the compressor is engaging when I turn on the AC so what can it be now
I just opened and replaced my 2008 xterra fan coz it was making a very loud sound and then I noticed it damaged the radiator and later I just found your video wish I followed you before. But now I am subscribed thanks for the help. I never knew it had a self diagnosing system. I am just going through all your videos. Do you have an Instagram?
This is awesome and so helpful. BTW in my case the fan is working in the auto test, but it not turning on when I put the a/c at max or when idle. Any suggestions here?
Just did the self-test and found that the fan motor is working. The AC was working just fine and blowing cold before I put it in the shop for new timing chain and tensioners. I did see a video of a resistor that can go bad. My AC fan only comes on now in 4th position. Any advice? This week she displayed a P0460 code/fuel sensor. Now I have two issues. Thanks so much for the videos. They are amazing!
Your truck's motor is almost identical to my 06 Nissan Frontier CC, a 4.0 engine, except mine is automatic. My question is, does my truck have the capability of the auto test you performed on ur truck? I'm having the same issue with the a/c it cools when its running but air is hot when in idle. Thanks for the video, any feedback appreciated.. The oil catch can was a breeze to install b/c of ur easy instuctions to follow.
Hello Ry, do you have a vide on how to bypass the transmission oil cooler and install an aftermarket one ? You always make such good and detailed videos. Thanks in advance.
Amazing Video!! Thank you!!! I have a '07 Xterra that I had tested and charged almost a year ago. No leaks and blew cold until it was stored over winter. (It's a rear wheel model bought in CA and I moved to a wintery climate so I don't drive it in the Winter and use my AWD car instead) when I got it out this month I noticed the AC wasn't blowing cool. just warm recycled air. I haven't done the fan test yet or looked at the regulators, fuses etc. but I now know how to do it all saving my hundreds from a mechanic....WOULD the coolant leak or dissipate from sitting for 6months roughly? I did go out and keep the car charged battery-wise and ran it for several minutes once every few days during winter but never turned on the AC.......could it have leaked from sitting or dissipated etc? TY!!!! What a precise and well filmed, lit and greatly explained video. you're great at this and this is my new guide for the issue I'm having.......thoughtS?
Tried it i thought this was the problem for me AC but the fan works! Maybe just need to top of with freon. I was thinking of discharging the whole system and filling it up.
An AC system is closed and should not "use" refrigerant. You need to find why the old refrigerant escaped and repair before refilling otherwise your new refrigerant will leave from the same "hole" in the system.
Hi Ry I have a 2006 Nissan Xterra off road and the A/C has stopped working. I watched your video and i started the truck with the A/C high. The large fan was working, whereas the electric fan was not. So i had performed the test that you recommended. The test was fine and the electric fan did work. So now i don't know what could be wrong. The fan doesn't work with A/C on but does with the test. Have you any thoughts on this topic 🤔 Once again thank you for your expertise.
Your video is very helpful but i need more help. Ac was fine until last year around may 2023 got it recharged, worked fine until end of march 2024 it was getting warm again and i got it recharged again. I thought it was odd as never had to recharge a vehicle again that soon. When i took it to get recharged they walked me through the process, told me they have a machine they hook it up to and removes the refrigerant, then tests the lines to make sure there's no leaks and if there are it notifies them, if not then it fills it up recharging it. When the process was done they said I'm good to go. Was nice and cold until a few days go. Now it blowing hot air. Its only been about 3 months. Found your video. When the car is running and i turn on max ac the fan doesn't run. I checked when i got home after driving around so it was heated up plus its been in 80s every day. I did the test you showed and the fan comes on during the test but not when vehicle is running. However i don't hear the clicks for the magnetic AC clutch. Checked the fuses, all look good. I did start hearing a rattling noise thenlast few months and am thinking that has something to do with it. What does it mean that i dont hear the clicks for the magnetic ac clutch? What do i do next or what else could it be? Do you have other videos you could link me to that could help 😅 😬🙏🏻🤞🏻. I'm a Single mom on a budget and im trying to do it myself and save some money. So any help is greatly appreciated. TIA.
My mom just bought a 2006 for $1800 and sometimes it’s cold but today it got hotter and hotter, im letting her borrow my car for a couple days while I use her car and get it looked at. At least we can flip it and get more than $1800 back because it’s a 4x4 in michigan that runs. $2k minimum
Hey, I am Fan of your. My compressor is not turning ON.I checked every thing fuses, connectors and did the test. I finally connected the compressor directly it worked. I just want to know what am I missing.
Hey Ry, Do you have a video on the fan clutch? Also wondering that your thoughts are on replacing the fan clutch for an electric one. I have an 07 X and an 07 Frontier. The X has a fan clutch and the Frontier has electric fans. Love to hear from you. Thank you for your videos, I've been a sub for several years.
Hi Ry, great Xterra vids best resource on the net for this truck. I am wondering what replacement relay to buy for the cooling fan relays? I have been searching online but cannot find a site that lists this part for the xterra. Is it just a generic or universal relay? What specs do i need to confirm before buying? Thanks man! I appreciate the info.
Thanks again I love this kind of humor thing I got a question the test that you perform to check the lights fans wipers headlights and the fan does work on different Nissans or just works on the Xterra or you can do an a different different Nissans thank you very much 👀🌿🙏God bless you
I have 2010 nissan xterra i change compressor, pressure switch, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator vacuum the system after that put oil and freon ac compressor cooling fan running but not cooling any suggestion thanks
hi I have a QUESTION if the fan is not working it can also heat up the car engine ? because my Xterra gets hot when I turn the ac on and while the car is not moving it heats up .thank you so much in advance!!
hi i did the same test but not getting any power when the test is done. the fuses look good too not sure what more to do... I did the self test like you show us in this video. no power to plug
Thank you I did not know about this self test. But what do we do if the fan does turn on during the self test? When the head and tested the freon is in there. I assume this has got to be the motor?
I have quick question I have a 2006 nissan xterra. i have a P1168 and P0051 not sure what are this codes. I have the Service light on, Can you help me. I when to Auto Zone for code reader and it saids " HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low Bank 2 Sensor 1" other one is "Closed Loop Fault Detected Bank 2"
My 06 xterra a/c only blows cold air on the first fan setting. Blows hot air on the rest. Mech. told me he thinks it's the control module. Before I replaced it I replaced the resistor under the glove box as one vid maker on here had the same issue as me and said that fixed it. No luck here. I got a used control module and installed it. Still no fix. Mech. says all he knows to do is track all the wiring and check for issues. Have you encountered this before? Thanks.
I need help on how to fix the "air recycling" button or system on my X'Terra 2005 it lights up and all but outside odors always come into the cabin since it was brand new. I can't find any articles on the web. Thanks in advance!
I’m a simple man, I see an Xterra maintenance video... I like it
My kinda guy! Thanks for watching man. 👍🏻💪🏻

So my fan wasn’t working and I changed it. Now the new fan works only when the test is done. The fan don’t actually work as it should with the a/c on. Thanks a lot for the video man. I really appreciate it.
NP, Sorry to hear that, try heating the truck up and then maxing out the AC. See if it fires up.
@honeybadger4397 did you able to find the problem? I have the same exact issue
I would absolutely love if you could show how to change or at least diagnose the AC compressor. I've seen other videos who kinda show how, but you always seem to have the best detailed Xterra videos. This one was very helpful also as to eliminate other possible culprits.

HAHAHA I laughed so hard at your intro
🤣😎😂
🤣🤣🤣 Scotty! I'm freaking dead!
Same 😂
I love Scotty. I'm liking this guy too
If you buy this car you're stupid,,,,
If you lived as bit closer, i would mow your lawn, wash the dishes, clean the gutters - all to thank you for this vid - especially the electrical troubleshooting of the condenser fan connector. FWIW - 2005 Frontier w/ 263,000 miles!...and still going strong!
Hey thanks! I appreciate it. Love to hear about these high mileage trucks still going. Glad you got it worked out.
excellent video, great presentation, very clear, very concise
I felt the emotion in the "woo hoo" of the last test routine 😂
It’s SOOO hot here right now. I’m happy just to be finish with any video I make. Haha
Love your videos. Very helpful. You take your time and explain every detail. 2002 Xterra owner. Thank you
Glad to help. Thanks for watching. 👍🏻
This man has a talent for explaining
Why thank you! 💪🏻
Just performed my self test on my 06 Xterra.... first off that is sweet!!! After doing the test I discovered that my fan kicks on like it should, that sucks cause I am guessing that I may need to get a new A/C compressor! Maybe in the future you can do a video on A/C compressor replacement.

Thank you for your videos! Short, funny, to the point. Great to be able to work on my Xterra with your videos!
Glad you like them! Anything I can do to help. :D
Great guide for checking the AC. Very informative and pedagogic.
Thank you! I am a corporate trainer by trade so it seems to come through in my videos.
I appreciated your explanation and demonstration of recharging the a/c, I’ll look at the video again on the can, but I would like to have watched you point to the refrigerant type sticker and heard you mention which one it uses. Otherwise, great delivery and demonstration, thanks! I need to do this on my ‘02, but I feel sure I can do it after watching this.👏🏻
This video came at the perfect time for me from the right channel!
Awesome!! 💪🏻🤘🏻

haha, I really think they do. Its crazy how they design things and honestly the Xterra is not even a huge offender of this. Also, thanks for the tips!

By the way, checked the fuses as well. What else am I missing?
So at 28:12 you talk about it. Sorry. Again.. me jumping the gun. So sorry haha. Still researching why it isn't blowing cold air right away.
Haha I understand. I'm the same way. I totally get that my videos can be hard to get through. 🤣
Thanks! Well done- jealous that you have manual transmission!
I do love that about mine. No frills. I do wish I had power windows and locks though!!
Very well done Ry. You're my new Go To Guy for my auto issues. Keep it up, and thanks.
A 4.0 Nissan engine can run the AC on without the electric motor running. The ECM controls the cooling fan corresponding to the vehicle speed, engine coolant temperature, refrigerant

If the AC refrigerant pressure is less than 230 PSI, and the vehicle engine temperature is less than 208F, the fan will not operate but you will still be getting AC air. The clutch fan even when not engaged to the engine speed draws a significant amount of air through the condenser
You solve all my mystery problems thanks a million!
No problem! Ill keep them coming as long as you all keep watching!
Really. In cars in the past low refrigerant was issue. Used to use R12 back then too. Cool.
Great video, you always take your time and are very thorough... as always learned a lot, thank you Ry
You’re welcome!! Thanks for watching. 👍🏻
thanks man i actually have a replacement fan on the way for mine and im doing this very soon!
Nice!!
Absolutely great video. Never knew about the self test. I saved $1,000 because of your video. Thanks
Glad I could help!
Your videos are so well done. I’m trying to locate a leak in my AC system on my Pathfinder and you gave me a couple things to check.
Thanks! I try my best. Hopefully you can track down your issue.
Great vid! Just bought a 2015 Pro4X and after 2 days, the a/c is not cold at idle. Only when moving. Now Ill diagnose before taking it back to the dealer under warranty. You should show the multimeter settings when doing your tests...just as a helpful tip ^_^

Hell yea! I would not touch a dang thing until that warranty expires. Thanks for watching.
My AC isn't warm, but not as cold when idling compared to cruising on the freeway. I performed the NISSAN self test you mentioned and confirmed the electric cooling fan is working. Any ideas why the AC isn't cold?
Awesome video! Love the intro, almost had to do a double take!
Hey, thanks!
what perfect timing! I was having the same issues with my 05 so know I know what to check for. Thanks for you videos.
Awesome!!
Lol, love the Scotty Kilmer intro.
Thanks for the vid mate 👍 .
Glad you liked it! Anytime my friend.
Hi Ry I did my test and my fan came on, on my 97 Nissan Pathfinder see. Can you say what might be the problem ?
Very well organized and informative but at 12:51 instead of pulling off all the air intake parts wouldn’t it have just been easier to pull out the battery and run some extended leads from there to the aux fan? Thank you. You Guy great, Excited to see the diagnosis procedure, I lean lot from you.
The same fan in my 07 Pathfinder is not working and I don’t have any AC and I have 150 psi in the AC line so I’m guessing I need to replace the same fan 🤷🤷 and you always make incredible videos, thank you 👊
You're welcome, hope it works out!!
Cool trick with the self test. But my xterra fan is operating, Freon is full also the compressor is engaging when I turn on the AC so what can it be now
Thanks again for another awesome video!
You got it!! Thanks for watching. 😀
The intro got you another sub 😂😂😂
😆😆
Intro. Nailed it 👍😂😂
Thanks :D
Love the content man
Do you know where is the ac presure switch location on nissan phatfinder 2007 se 4.0 ,if you know please let me know ,thank for you useful videos
Pause the video at exactly 20:33 and its in the far lower left hand corner of the screen.
Another great video! Thank you 😊
You are so welcome!
Hello Ry, do you have a vide on how to bypass the transmission oil cooler and install an aftermarket one ? You always make such good and detailed videos. Thanks in advance.
Intro is hilarious!!!😂🤣😂🤣😂
:D
Thanks so much for all your videos. Helped me out so much.
My pleasure. Thank you for watching.
Love it can that fan cause car getting hot my obd reads 228f never seen that fan working will try test thanks a bunch from U.K
great video, very thorough! Thanks!
@@MathewPollard-vj4uq I drained the old freon and filled with new. Its been over 2 years now and my A/C has never been better
Awesome 👍 thank you Ry.
Glad you enjoyed it
Hey Ry do you know any short cuts to installing a blend door actuator, besides pulling the dash??
Ry,how about just jump the low or high relay to check the motor ?
Hi Ry
I have a 2006 Nissan Xterra off road and the A/C has stopped working.
I watched your video and i started the truck with the A/C high. The large fan was working, whereas the electric fan was not.
So i had performed the test that you recommended. The test was fine and the electric fan did work. So now i don't know what could be wrong. The fan doesn't work with A/C on but does with the test.
Have you any thoughts on this topic 🤔
Once again thank you for your expertise.
TIA.
everyone knows the beginning 😉😉
My mom just bought a 2006 for $1800 and sometimes it’s cold but today it got hotter and hotter, im letting her borrow my car for a couple days while I use her car and get it looked at. At least we can flip it and get more than $1800 back because it’s a 4x4 in michigan that runs. $2k minimum
Where in Michigan? ;)
Pwahaha!...that intro. Great video.
😎
Thanks man.
Wow great explanation, thank you 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
You are welcome!
I had to change the blend door actuator meaning the dash had to come out and still was tuff to get the actuator replaced and installed !
Oh man, that job is always a pain. Glad you got it knocked out.
Thanks! Love your videos very helpful !
Hey, I am Fan of your. My compressor is not turning ON.I checked every thing fuses, connectors and did the test. I finally connected the compressor directly it worked. I just want to know what am I missing.
Check your ac compressor relay.
Yep, right here: th-cam.com/video/zcM4argVRkI/w-d-xo.html I looked into it and the electric seems like its more trouble than it's worth.
my 2014 nissan x terra pro 4 x is blowing cool do you have a suggestion for a fix the fan is working and the refrigerant is good eney suggestions
Thank you very much buddy good job you’re awesome thanks a lot
🤘🏻💪🏻
Thanks again I love this kind of humor thing I got a question the test that you perform to check the lights fans wipers headlights and the fan does work on different Nissans or just works on the Xterra or you can do an a different different Nissans thank you very much 👀🌿🙏God bless you
Glad you liked it! This should work on most Nissans of that era.
@@Rythecarguy Thank you very much man you’re cool
👍🏻🤘🏻💪🏻
I have 2010 nissan xterra i change compressor, pressure switch, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator vacuum the system after that put oil and freon ac compressor cooling fan running but not cooling any suggestion thanks
Honestly just thank you for this video. Thaaaank yoouu!!
Of course! Sounds like it helped you. 👍🏻
Ray can you show me how to run the transmission lines from the Engine Radiator to the one in front please thanks Carl

hi I have a QUESTION
if the fan is not working it can also heat up the car engine ?
because my Xterra gets hot when I turn the ac on and while the car is not moving it heats up .thank you so much in advance!!
I cracked up at the rev up your engine part. hahaha
😂🤣 just goofin on Scotty.
hi i did the same test but not getting any power when the test is done. the fuses look good too
not sure what more to do... I did the self test like you show us in this video. no power to plug
Love the intro
😅
Thank you I did not know about this self test. But what do we do if the fan does turn on during the self test? When the head and tested the freon is in there. I assume this has got to be the motor?
Could be the compressor, did that turn on during the test?
Thanks.
What if the recharge kit doesn't snap on or screw.into the low pressure would that mean i have the wrong hose
I need help on how to fix the "air recycling" button or system on my X'Terra 2005 it lights up and all but outside odors always come into the cabin since it was brand new. I can't find any articles on the web. Thanks in advance!
My guess is that the actuator that moves the door is bad. You would have to remove the dash to get that motor out.
That was funny. Love that guy too
😂
My 04 Xterra is having the exact same problem. Can the test be done on first gen xterra’s ?
Don't know, try it and let us know!
What year is this xterra those headlights look very nice
Would this work on a 2000 Nissan Frontier
Wow, amazing! Thanks bro!
Glad you like it! Thanks for watching!
My 2005 X had a condenser leak. Do I need to change the dryer along with the condenser?
