Not a built in one but we have 4 of these, 2 in each vehicle for her Buick Encore and 2 in my Sierra, they work really well. Tray isn't big enough for laptop though. Honestly all 3 make a good one, whoever gives me the best price will most likely get my business My biggest decision is between gas vs diesel, always a back and forth.

GMs have had too many electrical problems for me to consider them, Ford only wins cause I want an old truck, if more people had bought 2018 ram 3500 Duallys (megacab or crew cab long bed) I'd buy one of those. Manual transmission is a must for me. With how rare they are I won't ever use an automatic unless I'm forced too.

For a someone that does not work in the field or near dirt yeah but boss tailgate was stolen but good thing becouse it had broken from all the dirt jamming all the joints
I don't know about the multi-functional tailgate, I like it but I do a fair amount of bump pulling. I know just like I know the sun is coming up I will drop the tailgate on the hitch.
I think you may have reviewed my truck before I picked it up. GMC told me there were only 5 in the Valley and I bought the white one. Thats awesome. I love it.
GM could bring me back as a customer if they would do two things, offer rear air leveling like the RAM's and, update the interior including additional two-tone color choices.

I think in this generation GM made the bed longer. Consequently moving the placement of the gooseneck ball back about 3". I'm curious to see actual scale comparisons, to see if it weight is not properly distributed to the steer axle. Therefore towing might be compromised.

I have heard that GMC HD trucks get an all new interior for 2021, as well as more power to keep up with Ram and Ford. Not sure if COVID will delay that.
In hot regions like Arizona or texas those sun roof dont last the seals wear out so fast , especially here in southeast Texas the sun will wear it out and the rain will mess up your interior

JD, seems the 3.42 gears are the only option in this truck. How are for pulling bigger, heavier fifth wheels. I assume better on highway mpg when up to speed. What about pulling hills?
Having a ram 3500 going between all 3 ratios they have, 3.42. 3.73 and 4.10. 3.73 is the sweet spot ive notifed. 3.42 seems to lag and 4.10 seems to be too high on rpms. 3.73s tows great in hiss and so forth. The only hiccup with ram on them is its in the wrong ratio of the trans in certain hills. I k ow GM gone more gears, so 3.42s might not effect it at all.

It’s 2020 and GMC finally gets it in many respects with Dodge increasing their sales 18% last year and likely the same amount or more this year you’ve got to ask yourself what is GMC missing that’s driving There customers into Ram trucks? I think it’s the reliability factor is # one. I’ve owned/driven several Chevys in the past and some had half a dozen recalls , and a few problems that were carried to new models, which begs the question what am I missing That’s going to hit me in the wallet later? I just don’t trust them with the price of these trucks cost.

bearkatljl as far back as the square body GMs I’ve ALWAYS preferred the cosmetic appeal of GMC over Chevy. There’s just something about that open grille look vs the center bar on Chevy.

Ok the max capacity of this truck will require drivers to have a None Commercial Drivers License. Other than that a beautiful truck, that being subjective of course. I personally feel the design is gaudy an too much, the bed and rear quarter looks fine, but the front end an especially the weird wheel well arches with too many curves an angles. Plus the wheels and tires look pathetically small! I totally feel on this generation the Chevy looks better! But if I were to get a HD truck? The latest Ram and Ford have to be considered, especially the higher trims, the Chevy/GMC just falls short!
I love gmc, Chevy all the way but man I'm sick of this basic interior ford interior makes us look like we're in the pass although. I guess I cant complain to much considering my GMC isn't found dead on the side of the road like ya know cough cough ford
I think they have the emissions worked out pretty good. I'm running a 2015 RAM Cummins and have had zero issues with the truck including the emissions system. You read about an issue here and there but nothing like it was not long ago.

GM interior may be dated but its brand new and refreshing to a Ford owner moving over.
Never cared for Ford's interior, too chiseled of a look for me. Going to the GM from a RAM, well, just can't do it.

That tailgate is the best idea I've seen. you didn't mention it, but it would be useful in hitching up to a fifth wheel.

What I mostly dig about this truck is the 10 speed allison. Any opinions are greatly appreciated compared to the aisin from Dodge.
One thing about the Cummins that was better was the exhaust brake seemed more effective driving empty

Factory started building 2021 in August . Dont think there will be any changes. Shortage of trucks due to covid. Lots of parts on the shelf for 2020
With the giant c shaped lights and tiny wheels it looks like a locomotive. Looks good, but the alumiduty 450 still looks better

On my 3/4 ton 2017 the only difference to a 1 ton was one leaf in the rear.
Same axel, brakes, gear ratio.
How do you control your in- command system when traveling because mine says travel lock.

I would say the Ram trucks have more issues than any of the Big 3. I like the Rams too, but very leary of them...

I don’t think it has radar cruise control. These trucks have all the hardware for it but I don’t think it works.
I also thought the 2020 HD did not have adaptive “radar” cruise control. Would be good to get clarification by BigTruck/BigRv

That sucks. My wife’s mini has HUD and Nav is on it and it is great, don’t have to turn my has to look at the nav screen, it’s on the head.

the interior is disappointing for a Denali grade truck. barely nicer than a XLT ford or laramie Ram. Hope GM refreshes it soon
