its ment to sound bad though so if she sung it nice it woudnt have fit the part. alot of time the director will tell the actors to make it sound as bad as posible for commedic effect.

@@mae9507 it's definitely not a rehearsal, there is clearly an audience. and i agree with @SeaBass these kids have no energy. but trust me on this, making a career doing shows and working crew on them has been no easy task, but i have seen and worked with middle schoolers with more enthusiasm than these people
