- See how much BIGGER the field of view is on all the compact 5x mag Immersive Optics rifle scopes.
We put a traditional rifle scope (3-12x 56mm) set at 5x magnification alongside the 5x24, the 5x30 and 5x30 PRO prismatic scopes from Immersive Optics, to see how they compared at ranges of 6m, 20m and 40m.
Although it wasn't easy to film this test and I forgot to refocus the Immersive Optics for 20m and 40m, the results were even better than expected.
You can see the same field test for the 10x24, 10x40 and 14x50 Immersive optics scopes here:

So did Element Optics rebrand this as their Prismatic line of scopes? Looks the same and mounts are the same to me. Who's overpriced their product now.
Are these available in the U.S.?
We're the UK & Ireland distributor only.

Parethis scopes rated for air rifles. Or all rifles. Great upgrade to anything I have seen ever in field of view
All the Immersive Optic scopes are shock resistant to 600G but check you've enough eye relief for your set up: The 5x24 and 5x30 have 45mm but the 5x30 PRO has generous 85mm eye relief- which should be sufficient for most.
Could you please do the same text with the 14x50??
My first attempt to do it failed because the short eye relief made it impossible to focus my camera. I need to rethink how to do it... but I will!

@@thomothompson1344 Sorry it's taken a while to figure out how to film with such a short eye relief. I hope this helps: th-cam.com/video/pKwp-V_6hxE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=pvCGsBIIclVOwWE8
Is there view test footage the same as this test footage for the 14x50 ?
I am planning a video to compare the x14 and x10 scopes but the short eye relief makes filming a bit tricky with a camera. And while it is achievable with a phone, the picture quality isn't ideal.
I will get on to it when I've found a solution!
In the meantime I can tell you the results are comparable, with a much larger field of view compared to a traditional scope.
@@thomasjacksltddid you manage to do this with the 14x50 ? Cheers, Davy
Not worked out how I can do it yet. But it's still on my to-do-list!@@davykelly1857
@@thomasjacksltd Have you still not done this test yet?
@@MrRockstar1968 I'm yet to work out how to film effectively through the lens with such a small eye relief. I'll take another look at the footage I've got to see if there's anything to salvage / post. I hear ya!
