      Thank you very much @Nectarous C. I thought I was rambling WAY too much. I really didn't plan to discuss the vascular system of the tree so I didn't prepare.

    Great video Mike, I am new to all this and I found this simple to understand. I found the part of which way the nodes face the branch usually grows facinating. Could you do a video on cultivating cuttings?

    Why do you take them in at all why not just leave them outside?

      I live on the border of USDA zone 6 and 7. The winters here have been bipolar. One year we had 80 degree days almost every day in October and November, while the year before I don't recall it ever getting above 32 F in October and November. Therefore, never sure how cold it will be and I would hate risk loosing one of my babies to the cold!
