Bought mine last week after first having a cheap version bought on EBay. It's a quality helmet, really liking it 👍Some people mention the plastic earmuff parts break easily, but I've used them quite alot off and on to take a break from sawing in the heat, sweating etc and they're snapping in and out of place no problem. I did accidentally drop the helmet and an earpiece came off just due to the fall, snapped back in as it should no worries. I do have to wash the sheepskin forehead bit under the tap daily otherwise it stinks but that's the same with my chaps and padded harness too. The mesh is a bit restrictive on the eyes, it's pretty well like looking out the 'crimsafe' door mesh we have at home and I do find it restrictive on seeing anything above about eye level which is kinda dangerous really. Probably safer without it because if something comes down A: you can't hear it and B: you can't see it.
Least I look like a pro in front of clientele I guess.

Thanks for the review. Aside from my understanding that the face shield is coming apart (from the way it is transported) it seems like a decent helmet. The ear pieces, that probably isn't an uncommon issue, even with regular ear muffs. I learned a long time ago, take care of your gear, it will take care of you. I don't tend to just throw my gear into bags and into vehicles. With that in mind, hopefully it would last me a long while. Thanks for the review and opinion!

Good review, me today upgraded to a new 88cc Husqvarna chainsaw and spent a thousand on new safety gear, safety first hey.

Thanks for the review. So would you buy the helmet again or would you look at another brand?

karkoffy I probably would, I like the fit of the helmet a lot. However I feel the husky helmet has a better visor. The next helmet I will buy will be an arborists helmet for work

Is there a way to adjust the straps themselves in order to get a tighter fit? Please let me know. Thanks

There's four different position holes at each side front and back of the helmet that adjusts the position of the actual helmet itself. I've tried all of them but the difference is barely noticeable
