Un disco muy arriesgado pero logra su cometido de modo brillante. Saludos desde la ciudad de los palacios ; Ciudad de México. Gracias por compartir.

This album is so awesome! Joe Farrell's flute solos are out of this world on this album!

      Joe Farrell!!!!!!!
I had no idea he was on this.
One of the most under-rated Reed players of all time. Any Blue Note with Joe on it is pure GOLD!

@@numbernine2207 Yes, Number Nine, if you look at the description for this album the musicians on this outing were "Joyce" Moreno- Acoustic Guitar (Violão) lead and background vocals composer arranger (vocais principais e de fundo, compositor, arranjador), Mauricio Maestro- Lead and Background vocals, additional acoustic guitar composer arranger (vocais principais e de fundo, guitarra adicional, compositor, arranjador), Warren Bernhardt (RIP) - Keyboards (Teclados), Mike Mainieri - Vibraphone (Vibrafone), Buster Williams- Bass (Contrabaixo), João Palma (RIP)- Drums (Bateria) on all tracks except for ‘Moreno’, ‘Pega Leve’ and ‘Descompassadamente’, Tutty Moreno - additional Percussion (Percussão adicional), drums on ‘Moreno’ and ‘Pega Leve', Naná Vasconcelos (RIP)- Lead and Primary Percussion ( Chumbo e Percussão Primária ), Michael Brecker (RIP)- Tenor saxophone (Saxofone Tenor), Joe Farrell (RIP)- Flute (Flauta) all tracks except for ‘Pega Leve’, Ion Muniz - Flute on ‘Pega Leve’, Producer with Orchestra arranged and conducted by Claus Ogerman (RIP)-Produtor com Orquestra arranjado e dirigido por Claus Ogerman. WHAT A TREASURE AND WHAT A LINEUP! It's so unfortunate that many of these wonderful musicians are no longer with us, but I am grateful to God that they were able to come together to record this in 1977 with love and passion for our enjoyment and posterity! Special thanks to you Joe Davis and Far Out Records for bringing this to us!

So this is not 'Feminina', the gold disc the Japanese pressed on CD?

@@numbernine2207 That's correct. That version came out in 1980

@@crismaracana2824 OK, Yeah, that's what I thought. Audiophile recording to the core. I'll never forget the 1st time I heard that 1 on GOLD disc with JBL L250's (4 ways), before they ruined them with the titanium tweeters, the original ones.
Blew my mind!!! The fidelity of that Japanese CD is going to be hard to beat. I'll bet this new vinyl sounds fantastic though.
I think the best sounding Brazilian jazz recording I've heard is Victor Assis Brasil's 'Desenhos' on FORMA.
It's so perfect. The Japanese Celeste CD of it is deep.
The music is as hip as it gets too.
Edu Lobo on Elenco & Valle's 2nd ODEON are also in my top 5. Paulo Moura Quarteto, Meirelles E Es Copa 5 on Phillips, etc. Thanks again for sharing!
      BIG HUG.

JOYCE, U GO GIRL!!!!! I READ THE BACK STORY ON THIS ALBUM AND YOUR CAREER AS A FEMALE ARTIST. WE HAVE AN OVER SEXUALIZED SOCIETY TODAY WHERE THAT'S WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A GREAT ARTIST. UNFORTUNATELY AS AN ARTIST U HAVE TO TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OFF WHEN YOU SING, OR ACT AS THOUGH YOU'RE A PORN STAR TO SELL RECORDS. THANKFULLY U WERE NOT THE ONLY FEMALE ARTIST THAT FELT THAT WAY BACK THEN! YOU AND MANY OTHER FEMALES IN ALL GENRE'S OF MUSIC PAVED THE WAY FOR MANY YOUNG "TALENTED" MUSICIANS FEMALE MIGHT I SAY, TO DO "THEM" ON THE REGULAR WITHOUT SACRIFICING THEMSELVES "SEXUALLY" TO MAKE RECORDS. I SALUTE YOU, U CAME FROM ERA'S OF MUSIC WHERE YOU HAD TO HAVE SKILL WEATHER OR NOT U TOOK YOU'RE CLOTHES OFF. SALUTE TO YOU BEAUTIFUL WOMAN!!!!!!!!!! YOUR MUSIC IS RIDICULOUSLY GOOD AND MAKES ME FEEL ALIVE WHEN I HEAR IT!!!!!
