- I rented a cabin in the woods and enjoyed a beautiful snowstorm! Nothing is better than a small cabin tucked into a snowy forest. I enjoyed a delicious meal cooked over the campfire, watched the falling snow from my cozy candle-lit cabin, and laughed with a snowman.

My Dad served in Korea. He was raised in the mountains of Pennington Gap, Virginia a coal miner’s son. He was drafted and was 1st time leaving home, seeing the ocean & 1st time to set sail on a ship to serve in the US Air Force. When he returned he wanted to show his future kids as much of The United States as he could. After Korea to him he felt he lived in the greatest country & wanted to spend his life showing it to us kids. Well,he did just that w/us 7 kids….camping constantly all over the United States since I was his 1st born infant til I left home at 19yrs old. A great Dad, passed away in his late 70s. Camped and fished all his life and all us kids camped w/our children and we r still loving camping as empty nesters. God bless you, ur family and ur efforts to provide God based family fun videos. Love your child-like manner, ur level of coziness, ur atmospheric ambience. Ur wife is a blessed woman.

If I wasn’t so far away, I’d invite myself for supper, which I know would be good. Than I’d sit on the swing and watch it snow all night. You could pretend I was your grandmother. Discovered this channel a few months ago. I am having a few health issues at this time so, it's hard for me to get out in and do some of these activities right now. Then when you prayed what an added bonus someone who loves the Lord Jesus. Appreciate this channel very much thanks for sharing these awesome camping experiences.

The cabin didn’t have a wood stove. Only way to have fires was outside in the fire pit 😊 I enjoy a good campfire!

Probably my favorite video of yours to date. The “fire tower restaurant” is another. Your whimsy and sense of humor - coupled with the beautiful photography, musical score, and very clever editing make you very unique. Too many outdoor videos seem to be the same people doing exactly the same things over and over. Keep up the good work!

I absolutely love those Pull,Start,Fire blocks. They are so cool, we discovered them and we use them only to start our campfires. Can't use anything else now. Glad you enjoyed it. I love your videos. that cabin looks very cool.

Awesome winter wonderland. So beautiful! We are not a fan of snow but this was nice to look at from the warmth of our house. Rich just came back from 28 hours straight of plowing/salting at the jail where he works. So you can understand why he doesn't like snow.
We LOVED Frosty. So many nice added touches. Merry Christmas & God's blessings for a happy, healthy new year!!
