Bill's music takes me back to the early days of the Pandemic. I was so stressed and worried and Bill's music soothed my Soul. I will forever be Grateful Bill. Tim Neeley,
Bill, this is so beautiful! Thank you for performing it and posting it for all of us to hear. You are an amazing musician, and I am now subscribed. Thank you!
I don't know if you still see posts on your page anymore, amazing that you even looked at all, many, when life lifts them with a blessing, end up carried away from simple things such as this. I just heard "Irish Blessings" for the first time tonight, which, then carried me to some of your other songs, including this one. The way you put your feelings and emotions into crafting each song is truly beautiful. I can actually hear the story being told through your playing, especially, for me, through the flutes that you use. Incredible. If you happen upon this post some day, if you don't mind, would you let me know the type and styles of the flutes you use for Celtic songs? It is difficult to find what artists actually use for these. I've searched far and wide for any of the ones the gentleman uses in the "Celtic Woman" shows, and a few others, they just don't seem to be listed anywhere on the net that I can find. I have a few Native American flutes I use in A, D, and G from Odell Borg @ High Spirit Flutes, if you know them. Beautiful, imo. But I've been really wanting to learn the different Celtic/Irish flutes and even "Tin Whistles". Thank you in advance if you happen to catch this and have the time to put a couple you've so obviously mastered, to bring so much joy to so many. Sincerely, Tim Rickard.
Hi Tim,Thanks for warming my heart on a rainy day in Raleigh. Your kind words of affirmation are greatly appreciated. I play Michael Burke whistles www.burkewhistles.com/I love the sound of Michael's instruments. If you are just starting with whistles you might want to pick up a Generation brand. It's a lot cheaper but still pretty good. Good luck and all the best!Bill
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I will look into those, especially the Generation brand as I would be new to the whistles. I wanted to add that I just heard "The Boatman" another beautiful song. And, you are correct, the artwork, whether photographic or artist rendered are truly wonderful themselves and complement the music perfectly. Again I appreciate your time and effort to respond. Keep making what you were born to make! Take Care. -Tim
