Yes cause some megalodons are to high weight so they can only be caught with kings rod i caught one that was 84924.9 kg (Im not sure if only with kings cause i dont have all the rods but kings is cheapest to catch heavy megs)

Once it appears in Nearby Ancient Isles at the bottom will say "🦈The Megalodon Hunt has begun!" And there will be a grey and red storm where it spawned. Use the radar to check where to fish it and use something around 6000 kg. Like depths trident kings steady ecc. (I caught one today lol)
