Dude I've been watching these style o videos recently and yours are so well detailed! I love how you mix both realism and "ideal" concepts together, cause both together make for some stunning sets! Great work man, keep it up!
2:14 I sat up straight instantly when I saw who was next to Rusty. Then 4:36 happened, and I couldn't believe my eyes! How is Oliver rare if he was in a starter set? Sure, maybe it was a rare set, but why would they choose to make that set in particular rare? (Also, how was Oliver not produced by Track Master for The Tale of the Lost Treasure? It would have been the perfect opportunity to give a cheap alternative to the fans.) Also, was Oliver... struggling up that hill? That would certainly be ironic, as most of the models of him and his basis in OO and HO scale are either super weak, have wheels lifting off the ground, or have motors that catch on fire. 3:04 Bill, why are you... oh, how am I not surprised? 3:32 Edward when?
Tomy Oliver has never been rare lol. there's always like 20 decent condition examples you can find on eBay at a time. he was just never released in the states so he's gained a premium price for that.

4:02 I have this set myself! didn't have salty or wagons with it, just Thomas with Annie and Clarabel (the bridge also had a white road instead of the brownish orange) sadly some pieces broke or got lost over time (mostly since I was young) but i still have most of it along with Annie, Clarabel, the Cranky and docks piece, curved slope pieces (and their supports) and the road bridge (sadly Thomas no longer exists, don't know what happened to the guy)
You ought to make another track pack like this one! Except of course with different types of tracks, different accessories, and different cars. I would suggest s.c.ruffey(either version), a regular gray troublesome truck, and one of salty’s black troublesome trucks with covered loads. Then maybe a loop of single track with a tunnel and drawbridge. It could maybe be “the bridge and tunnel pack” That could probably make lots of tomy sets more fun too! Just an idea to think about.
That sounds like a really good set. I think you should have a load for S.C.Ruffey and the other truck as well. Maybe a milk tanker or another type of tankers plus a break van since we hardly get sets with breakvans.
I had an idea. You should show your entire Tomy collection so people can look at it for inspiration when trying to choose requests. Seeing what destinations, for example, you own could help someone make up their mind or pick an episode they might not otherwise request. (I got the idea from a TH-camr who plays the Pokémon trading card game and made a video of himself showing all the cards in one of his boxes so his channel viewers could help him build more decks.)
1:04 how do you play the game of “Controller”? I’m aware that you have to keep them from crashing, but do you have to have double lane tracks with some switches to play? Just wondering because I want to try it out sometime. :)

I encountered your videos after watching take along Thomas videos. Now I feel like collecting tomy/plarail as well!! Not sure where to start, but your track plans might help in spurring my own creativity in take along.
Idea for an expansion set- The shunting yard expansion set. Has eight buffers nine pieces of straight track, a curve track, three two way switches,a single three way switch,a turn table and shed and three troublesome trucks, a milk tanker, two vans and a break van.
I have a odd idea... i call it track mix Mixing three sets, three track packs, and three destinations together into one large layout The main rule is of the incorporating all the destinations

Corroded battery terminal. I did my best but I couldn't save her
