Here it is the highly anticipated Bonfire Mega vlog! filled with our whole day antics. Prepping the food for everyone, the garden for the display, taking the dog out so she's tired, and most importantly the main event... the fireworks!!! Hope you all enjoy the mega vlog.

Great vlog, and display, Flashy by Primed was awesome! Primed never dissapoint, fired a few of their compounds, Stick Or Twist, and No Limit, are fantastic.

@@martinbeecroft8246 Me too, it felt an age coming and then went in the blink of an eye. Stash videos and bonfire night will all return on the channel next year but stay tuned, we have one more fireworks video to come. We’re visiting Alton towers fireworks event tomorrow so be sure to check out the vlog in the coming days
Brillliant vlog, really enjoyed your enthusiasm. Great choice of fireworks. I do love the Primed stuff. I have over the top to fire Saturday amongst other things, wish I had bought poker face now after seeing that.

I believe £145 maybe a quid of two more or less. Should’ve been £165 but we managed to nab it during sale weekend 💪🏼

Great display guys! Those gigants are crazy and you should try some Funke cakes next time if you can get them, you won’t be disappointed. Also Vivid have an incredible range so hopefully you will try more of their products in the future despite the one dodgy misfire with loose Cannon. Great work again!

really enjoyed watching this, i had a sky breaker cake this year that set off my and neighbours car alarms 😂😂 i have the same problem as you though, no shade but i feel like your and also my garden is too small, not for safety but for the viewing purposes i just feel like everyone was sitting directly under my display this year and not getting the full effect, apart from that i had a great night and im happy that you did too !! really enjoyed this vlog guys
We had sky breaker in last years display, good firework but skipped it this year to try something different. Absolutely, same here - everyone say looking straight up, difficult viewing more so for the fan cakes. Glad you enjoyed the vlog and thank you for the comment ☺️
U can make it last long with the ignite systems u just take ya time and send up a fue then stop eat and go back to them it defo would benefit you more and it's defo more satisfying

Hope we don’t disappoint, we’ve had some private messages on our personal Facebook off friends nearby saying how good they was 🤣 we enjoyed them too, but sadly you can’t get the full effect from a video. We’ve done all we can though. Dji mic and good quality camera should be the best chance ☺️

We had a blast! Had a few Hallmark pieces this year, they was good 😊
That havoc was great! If you love your rockets then i would make sure you get the VSR 3 and Reapers both by vivid and super bomben rockets by funke if you can find them all 3 are amazing i had them myself and was super impressed with them
@@xConnor007x Superb cake, was blown away but the noise and the size and colour of the breaks. Can’t recommend it enough! Had my eye on all of these rockets you mentioned, I’ve got them in mind for next year for sure ☺️
Dont worry about the money your helping to support local businesses 😉. Thats my excuse anyway 😂. Fantastic video with some great fireworks. I have a fairly small garden so use a homemade safety shield which i would strongly recommend in a garden like yours just incase a cake explodes which has happened to me once. Loved the Havoc cake and the loose cannon. Those gigant salute rockets are a bit of an adrenaline rush. If you can get them for next year id recommend the funke bomben raketen ( much better than the larger super bomben raketen) and also the reaper rockets by vivid. These 2 are the best imo. Id also recommend the fantastic four display pack by carattacus potts. Every cake in that pack is superb.

We’re in the process of saving to move out, so who knows what can happen in 12 months, we may have a bigger garden for next years show 🙏🏼 but yeah, a shield sounds good. As you can see in the video, I do all I can with what we have to be sure everyone is as safe as can be. Though I definitely know some of those fireworks aren’t realistically fit to fire in such a small garden. All of those fireworks you mention are on my wish list 🤣 so expect to see them next year 🙌🏻

Twelve years ago I got myself two cakes and they set off car alarms. They were called Box of boom and I think they were made by Black Cat fireworks.
Sounds crazy! 🤪 Black Cat used to be top tier for me years ago

hi mate, i have a hallmark firework cake I ordered however when I move the cake around and side to side I can hear loose powder inside it would this still be ok to fire you recon?
Hey! 👋 hearing the powder in side is common, it’s happened to me too with other brands. If you’re concerned though maybe contact the place you bought it for a second opinion. Personally, I’d say you’re fine. Hope this helps ☺️

Thank you! Dan prides himself on picking only the best for the budget and starts planning/researching in August/sept for what’s new to the scene for the year. Total spend was a touch over £600

On what you said about no wheel in the selection box, it seems Bright Star have taken all the wheels out of their selection boxes now which is really disappointing. I had a box from the range last year (Mighty) that used to have 1 wheel and had zero and a bigger box this year (Carnival) that used to have 2 but now also has zero. They've replaced any wheels with atomizer shot tubes which are awful in comparison. Whats worse is The Range haven't updated their marketing so still show the wheels in the box contents on the leaflets, so are essentially false advertising.
We was very surprised and thought a Catherine wheel was a standard for any selection box but sadly not. Those atomisers wasn’t great but I’ve seen worse, for there size they did more than I expected but would’ve taken a wheel instead 🤣
Im now a fan for life! Fun fact im already online shopping for my 2025 bonfire psrty 😂

The original King was made by Gold Label. The Brother's attempt at bringing it back is a poor imitation. Not a scratch. It was a simple charcoal and titanium powder composition based on Dr. Takeo Schimitzu's Chrysanthemum 6 but in a relatively coarse grain size. Brother's are using ferrotitanium alloy based stars. Completely different. You'd have though if an amateur could work that out, then an actual fireworks factory would have no trouble but there you go.

@@GingerAndBrown The King by Gold Label (no longer exists as a brand) really lived up to the hype. Other companies have tried to piggy back on the previous successes of that rocket but have all failed to replicate that specific effect which is actually really easy to achieve. I think the new EU directive regarding operational specifications of pyrotechnic articles put a dampener on those efforts. Specifically no burning material must reach the ground and must self extinguish above a given minimum height. With such a massive hang on the King which came out during the BS 7114-2: 30 Nov 1988 years, I suspect the change to EU is why there have been zero successful attempts to bring it back. Closet I've seen is Funke Alpha 1.
