I still use my s2pro which I bought about 4 years ago and still works fine except they stopped sending me updates about a years and a half ago. But I still watch movies and ppv on weekends with it. Be aware they only send you updates for about 2 years to force you buying a newer model.
Is there a DVR function? I just got this box this week and am having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to set up a DVR for it. Other than that, works really well so far.
We have that one and all last week the fox Channels were down for maintenance. I wish I would have sent ours back. We live on a very limited income so cutting the cable bill was a good choice but tired of all the down for maintenance.

Simply put, Ethernet is more reliable and stable of a connection over wifi. But most things we use are with wifi for ease of use. But if you are having buffering issues it’s one of the best things to try is by plugging the box into Ethernet. The Superbox can buffer here and there but it’s a pretty good and reliable device.

Hello I’m new to this Tech. I currently have Internet only, but I am subscribed to spectrum cable programming which I pay extra for. I choose to use spectrum streaming app to get live channels. I pay for streaming apps, such as discovery+, Amazon prime, Netflix, Disney+ ect. Can you tell me what the benefits are of going with this device or one like it? I’m assuming I can eliminate the subscription to spectrum cable programming? How does this work with the streaming apps, though? Just trying to figure out all the benefits and make sure it’s worth it or if I’d be gaining any advantage. Thank you for your response.
All you need is internet. And unless there is a local channel you need that isn’t on the box you can just use the Superbox instead. Works very much like a cable box with most things included.
I'm having an issue with turning it back on. I watch tv turn it off and the smart box shuts down and there's a red light. When i hit the power button on the remote the box wont come back on I have to unplug it and plug it back on to get it back on. Any idea why or how to fix it?
What do these go for? $300 a box? I would need two of these for $600. Thats insane for tv. Just buy a couple of cheap $30 android boxes and download a cheap monthly service. Its not rocket science. Alot less upfront cost.
You can do either for sure but depends what type of person you are. If you like to play or fiddle and are somewhat tech conscious then yes. But some aren’t or don’t want to fuss around.

Still use my Fire devices every day also and use these boxes mainly for PPV and sports.

how on earth do you turn off closed captioning on shows. I have spent hours and it says it's off, but closed captioning seems to be on for every show.
